Alejandra + Daniel [DESTINATION WEDDING] - San Francisco, CA

Alejandra and I met around 5 years ago, and since then we clicked. Being in the same industry and being moms drew us closer and we never lost touch. Fast forward to 2017, she asked me to be her wedding photographer, and I was even more excited when she said her wedding was going to be in San Francisco! Naturally I agreed to go, but what I didn't know was how this experience was going to be one that I would never ever forget. I'm so blessed to call you my friend Alejandra, and I'm so happy Danny treats you so amazingly well! Sharing time with the two of you made me understand why God brought you both together, you deserve each other. This new thing I'm doing of sharing couple's love story from the bride or groom's point of view is something I'm going to keep going. Here is a excerpt from Alejandra:

"A haircut. That was what started it all. Before the infamous haircut, I had known Danny for about 2 years. We worked together for a year in Miami Dade College and continued to stay in touch after I had left that job. I reached out to Danny a year after I had left because I needed his help registering for an exam to finish my Associates degree. He was very sweet and helped me through the whole process. At the time, I was also in cosmetology school so I figured I would give him a haircut since he had helped me out a lot so, we set up a time and date for him to come into the salon. A few days before the appointment and after a little flirting here and there he asked me out for drinks. Little did I know that a haircut appointment would lead me to such an amazing man. I could go on and on about all the times he has been there for me. All of the times where he's wiped the tears off my face and held me just because I want to be held. All of the times where he's put up with my "hangry" attitude and gotten me the exact meal I want, even if he has to go through a mission to get it. But most importantly, we have helped each other grow and supported each other through our mistakes and our successes. I am very fortunate to get to call him my husband and go through life's up and downs with him by my side."

Erika + Jonathan [DESTINATION WEDDING] - Riviera Maya, Mexico

These two are and will remain so special to me. From meeting them at their best friends' engagement session, to taking me to MEXICO, yes, you read right! As much as I would love to write about them, I want to share an excerpt of the groom's vows because they are, well, #goals.Love you guys!

"Babe I vow to stand by your side and be your shield from anyone that would cause you harm. For when I have been at my lowest and most vulnerable you never once discarded me or pushed me aside. You never told me that you've failed too many times to give up or try something new. You told me to pick myself up and go again, and again and again if necessary. You showed me it's not the size of the man or the coin in his purse but the will he has to chase what he wants. You've removed my insecurities, shattered my doubts you are the reason for all I've done, all I am and all I will ever be. So above all other goals in life, 1 reigns supreme. How can I make you as happy as you make me? This is a challenge. I haven't always been the best cook, even when I pawed off Publix chicken as my own special recipe. And I know that I'm not the most handsome evident by all the times you told me you were dating me for what I'm going to look like at 40. But there are things I can control like doing the laundry or wash the dreaded dishes and even working endless shifts and watching the sunrise, I'll do it all because your happiness is worth it. My only regret would be missing all that time lying next to you, holding you and hearing the sweet sound of your cute snores. After all it's only fair that the women who makes me this happy gets the same in return. To recap, we were friends, we kissed and I promised to wash some dishes. There was only one thing left to do. Something I had no control over, a question I should have asked much sooner. Will you marry me? After months of planning and multiple failed attempts you made me the happiest man in the world when you said yes 1000 feet in the air. And regardless of the physical height that was the closest I've ever come to heaven. Thank you for agreeing to be mine and I yours. Thank you for choosing me, for being the women you are and most importantly bending down in photos so I look taller. I vow to love you, honor you and cherish you in the good times and bad and for all the days between."

you KILLED me Johnny!

Johnny was very nervous before walking down the isle! It was so sweet to see how much he loves Erica. (Funny fact: Johnny's dad was my pediatrician when I was young! We found out at the wedding, this world is way too small)

These two surely know how to party!

Highlight of the night was Erica's grandma Rose dancing with the young guys and really enjoying it. I want to be like her when I'm that age, lol.

The next images are from the Bridal (or Day After) Session. Erica and Johnny are troopers getting up at sunrise, and it was totally worth it!

Stacy + Israel [WEDDING] - Cooper Estate, Homestead, FL

A little throwback on a Tuesday! ahhh...Stacy and Israel. They were seventh graders when they met in 2002 at Henry H. Filer middle school. They had a few classes together and quickly became great friends. Eventually, their friendship grew into something stronger and Israel decided he would ask Stacy to be his girlfriend. Despite being completely different from the girls he had previously dated (girly-girls), their relationship was so unique. With having strict parents, it was never easy being able to see each other outside of school. Israel realized that if he wanted this relationship to last, he was going to have to fight for their respect and it was not going to be easy. They had no idea what the future had in store for them starting out this relationship at just 13 and 15 years old. Flash forward 12 years later and here they are! Stacy and Israel are an inspiration, and definitely #couple goals. We love you guys, and thank you for choosing us to capture your special day!
