Claire & Alex are celebrating their love with an engagement photo shoot at the University of Miami!

Your engagement photo shoot is a such a fun way to celebrate your love together before your wedding day! While there is no shortage of amazing locations to shoot your engagement photos in Miami, I always love when my couples pick a spot that has a special personal meaning to them. Claire & Alex both met while attending the University of Miami, so it’s no surprise that we took it back to where it all began when it came time to shoot their engagement photos!

If you need suggestions on a location for your engagement photo shoot in Miami, I am never in short supply of gorgeous venues where we can meet! But, just know that if you are already ‘kind of’ thinking about the local park where you walk your dog together or taking some glammed up engagement photos at Vizcaya, then you should trust your gut! If you have questions or concerns about these locations, or even the proper days or time to shoot then we can always work out the fine details together!

Claire & Alex’s style for their engagement photo shoot at the University of Miami was definitely ‘casual glam’ Claire wore a dainty, neutral colored, low heel for her shoot which turned out to be perfect for all of our walking around campus! She paired that with a navy blue sheath dress which was outlined in a gorgeous white pattern. Her groom to-be, Alex, wore a white dress shirt, no tie, with slate gray dress pants and a stylish leather belt. These two were so adorable walking all over campus together holding hands, and kissing by the fountain!

Greynolds Park Engagement Shoot | Aleshia & Scooter

Happy 2019 friends! We are celebrating with our very first blog post of the new year and sharing Aleshia & Scooter’s engagement photo shoot at Greynolds Park in Miami!

Greynolds Park is an amazing location in Miami to have your engagement photo shoot! Greynolds Park is an urban metropolis just north of North Miami Beach with 265 acres that we can explore together when we capture your engagement photos.

Aleshia & Scooter are another one of our amazingly sweet couples and they were were actually referred to us by a previous bride and groom. They are super fun and we clicked (no pun intended!) right away. Aleshia & Scooter will also be working with Dipp PhotoBooth for their wedding day!

Our couple chose to wear two different outfits for their Miami engagement photo shoot! A casual relaxed look that included red pants for Aleshia and a denim button down for a Scooter, and a more formal look that put our bride to be in sweeping strappy sky-blue gown, and her groom to be in a crisp white dress shirt. They also chose to bring along one small golden prop to their engagement shoot, which Scooter held up as Aleshia looked on joyfully.

Thecla and Mike’s engagement photo shoot on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, is on the blog!

Engagement season is in full swing and we love celebrating our couples engagement stories at Dipp Photography. Coral Gables Woman's Country Club Wedding | Alessandra & Leo

Alessandra & Leo celebrated their wedding day at the Coral Gables Woman’s Country Club!

Their wedding day was full of so many milestone moments! Our time together all began with their engagement photo shoot at Matheson Hammocks Park in Coral Gables! Alessandra & Leo brought along their sweet baby boy and made their engagement photo shoot a family affair. Of course the bride and groom-to-be snuck in some couples only embraces as well, including one where the groom literally swept the bride off her feet!

Alessandra & Leo’s wedding day was full of special moments at every turn!

The bride and groom took ‘getting ready ‘ photos in their suites at the Hyatt Regancy Coral Gables. The bridal suite was full of bridesmaids in silk robes, the mother of the bride, and of course sweet baby Alesso!

Alessandra took a few moments to herself before heading to the altar, to open the gift that Leo sent her and read the love note that was attached; and we were able to capture every.single.moment. for our blushing bride.

Leo’s getting ready suite was all about tightening his suspenders, adjusting his bowtie, and slipping into his chic two-toned wedding day suit. Leo also received a love note from Alessandra addressed to her ‘soon to be husband’.

Alessandra and Leo said ‘I do’ at St. Peter Paul Church in Miami, their beaming smiles as they walked down the aisle arm in arm really show you how much excitement was in the air on their special day.

The bride and groom’s wedding reception at the Coral Gables Woman’s Country Club was just as chic as their wedding day style! Their reception set up was full of gold seating, crisp white linens, and white florals bursting from every table top. How about a vintage getaway car for your wedding day? A stylish ride that also doubles as a great back drop for your bridal portraits, yep, Alessandra & Leo had that too!

One of the best moments of their entire day had to be when the bride had a first dance with her Mom, all the mamas out there will feel this one right in the heart strings!! You bet we included a few shots of that first dance below!

Curtiss Mansion Styled Wedding and Surprise Proposal | Isbel & Adrian

Over 19 Miami Wedding Vendors came together for this styled wedding, turned surprise proposal at the Curtiss Mansion!

This blog post is a little different from the other weddings we feature around here!

For one, it’s not actually a wedding, it’s a styled shoot!! Quick note on styled shoots. Styled shoots happen when a team of wedding industry professionals agree to come together to ‘style’ a wedding. Styled shoots are also a great way for wedding industry professionals to create new trends, sharpen their skills, and test new concepts within the industry. What really makes this styled wedding unique is that it quickly turned into a surprise proposal!!

We reached out to Adrian & Isbel to see if they wanted to be our ‘bride’ and ‘groom’ for the day and they immediately jumped at the opportunity to take part in this styled shoot! Literally dropping everything to attend fittings and be there when it came time for them to stand in as bride and groom. A little birdy at Dipp Photography asked Adrian if he planned on proposing and before you know it, a long time friendship turned into a gorgeous ring that Adrian presented to Isbel when they were decked out in full wedding day attire!!

Any Miami Wedding wouldn’t be complete without a full on tropical landscape and The historic Curtiss Mansion, located in Miami Springs, played host to our styled wedding is full of just that. Vizcaya Museum Engagement Session | Zara & Sean

Zara & Sean are engaged!! This sweet couple decided to celebrate with an engagement photo shoot on the grounds of the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.

This beautiful couple met at the age of 4 (yes, really!) and have been together for the past 11 years. How romantic is that?! Zara & Sean are both lawyers and they embody the definition super sweet and easy going.

Our sweet couple trooped all through Vizcaya and we captured some beautiful shots and poses from their engagement photo session (a few steamy ones too!) Zara came prepared for her engagement photo shoot at Vizcaya Museum with two gowns, that were both perfect picks for the location!! Gown number one was a vibrant royal blue one-shouldered gown, and gown number two was a floor length (with train!) red, steamy low back gown.

Sean and I have known each other since we were 4 and are family friends. We saw other sporadically throughout the years and reunited again when we ended up going to the same college. We've been together for 11 years. - Zara

Zara & Sean were both total naturals in front of the camera and their love for each other was present in each moment of their engagement photo session!

Vista Lago Ballroom Wedding - Dipp Photography

Diana & Raul got married at the Vista Lago Ballroom in Miami and their wedding day was full of all the romantic details you could possibly imagine!!

Before the big day, an engagement photo shoot at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens was in order. Side by side and hand in hand, Diana & Raul walked through all of the gorgeous grounds that Vizcaya has to offer. The beautiful bride to be even had a quick outfit change for her engagement photo shoot. She started off the session in a breezy high slit gown and ended the session in a strapless sleek black pantsuit with a half skirt, hello beauty queen!!

All the sweet moments for Diana & Raul on their wedding day! From getting ready at The Biltmore in Miami to their first look, and a sparkler wedding exit with a kiss you won’t soon forget!!

Some serious fun went down in the bridal suite when Diana & her glammed up bridal squad popped the bubbly in their silky getting ready robes. Be sure to check out the cute way they decorated the bridal suite, with gold metallic letter balloons hung above the headboard to spell out ‘Bride’.

After getting glammed up and sipping some bubbly, Diana was off to meet her groom for their intimate first look photos. Having a first look photo shoot is a great way to shake off the wedding day jitters, relax, get the tears out of the way before the ceremony, and enjoy a few private moments together before the frenzy of the wedding reception!

Time to party!! Guests were greeted at the Vista Lago Ballroom with mini champagne bottles, a towering five-tier wedding cake, and wedding day decor that was utter elegance! Soft pink, gold, & white wedding decor covered every area of their wedding venue! The bride & groom’s sweetheart table was lined in fresh floral garland that stretched across the table and down to the floor (seriously, you have to see it!!)

No wedding day is complete until everyone gets down and parties!

The Hora Loca show brought the party to the wedding venue with them! Guests were getting down on the dance floor through a blur of colorful glow sticks, and Dipp Photography captured every moment!

Erika + Jonathan [DESTINATION WEDDING] - Riviera Maya, Mexico

These two are and will remain so special to me. From meeting them at their best friends' engagement session, to taking me to MEXICO, yes, you read right! As much as I would love to write about them, I want to share an excerpt of the groom's vows because they are, well, #goals.Love you guys!

"Babe I vow to stand by your side and be your shield from anyone that would cause you harm. For when I have been at my lowest and most vulnerable you never once discarded me or pushed me aside. You never told me that you've failed too many times to give up or try something new. You told me to pick myself up and go again, and again and again if necessary. You showed me it's not the size of the man or the coin in his purse but the will he has to chase what he wants. You've removed my insecurities, shattered my doubts you are the reason for all I've done, all I am and all I will ever be. So above all other goals in life, 1 reigns supreme. How can I make you as happy as you make me? This is a challenge. I haven't always been the best cook, even when I pawed off Publix chicken as my own special recipe. And I know that I'm not the most handsome evident by all the times you told me you were dating me for what I'm going to look like at 40. But there are things I can control like doing the laundry or wash the dreaded dishes and even working endless shifts and watching the sunrise, I'll do it all because your happiness is worth it. And regardless of the physical height that was the closest I've ever come to heaven. Thank you for agreeing to be mine and I yours. Thank you for choosing me, for being the women you are and most importantly bending down in photos so I look taller. I vow to love you, honor you and cherish you in the good times and bad and for all the days between."

Johnny was very nervous before walking down the isle! It was so sweet to see how much he loves Erica. (Funny fact: Johnny's dad was my pediatrician when I was young! We found out at the wedding, this world is way too small)

These two surely know how to party!

Highlight of the night was Erica's grandma Rose dancing with the young guys and really enjoying it. I want to be like her when I'm that age, lol.

The next images are from the Bridal (or Day After) Session. Erica and Johnny are troopers getting up at sunrise, and it was totally worth it!
