There are these moments as an engagement photographer in Miami, FL, where I step inside a couple's love story, and the view from within is nothing short of pure magic. Recently, I worked with Vanessa and Nick on their engagement photos in Miami, aboard an exquisite sailboat. We took to the sea, along the sparkling waters of the Atlantic, to capture the beginning of their story, and I’m sharing all the details below.
Engagement Photographer Miami FL
The beauty of working with an engagement photographer in Miami FL, is that your modern-day love story can be captured in any way you see fit. Whether at a historic location, a beautiful local garden, or even aboard a sailboat. The location can be representative of how you met, it can depict how you envision your life together, or it can simply be a place that calls out to you.
For Vanessa and Nick, it was the experience of allowing the sea breeze to envelop them while bobbing along the surface of the tranquil sea. As we set sail, the Miami skyline grew smaller and smaller in the backdrop, setting the scene for a captivating afternoon, solely focused on their love story.
Spending the afternoon with Vanessa and Nick was seeing the magnetism between them, first-hand. Side by side, they are in the moment, connected, and fully engaged with one another’s presence. Vanessa has a fun, easy-going nature about her, and Nick is a steadfast pillar. They were so at home with each other that capturing their engagement photos presented the opportunity to curate a cinematic approach. The wind, the sea, the tranquil beauty that draws you to the surface; questioning what lies beneath the depth and what’s ahead along the horizon, these elements were all live scenery for Vanessa and Nick that beautiful afternoon.
Miami Engagement Photographer
As the sun gently set over the horizon, Vanessa and Nick’s session was far from over. There’s one thing I cannot resist as a Miami engagement photographer, and that’s the golden glow of photos captured as the sun sets in the distance. In photography, we call this ‘golden hour’. A time of the day when the view is magnificent, and the natural, surrounding glow is filled with enchantment.
Vanessa and Nick, who were entirely absorbed with one another, soaked up these last few moments wrapped in each other’s arms. They embraced the future ahead, as they prepared to embark on life’s journey together. My heart was overflowing with gratitude that Vanessa and Nick chose me as their Miami engagement photographer to document this moment. As the shoreline drew nearer in the distance, I couldn’t wait to sort through the photos captured and deliver them to Vanessa and Nick, allowing them to hang these memories on the walls of their home for years to come.

Engagement Pictures Miami
These engagement pictures in Miami with Daniel & Rafael were an almost effortless experience. Aboard the same cruise ship where they will say I do, I spent time with Daniel and Rafael exploring what was around each and every corner. Click the link below to see more details.
These engagement pictures in Miami with Daniel & Rafael were an almost effortless experience. Aboard one of the Celebrity Cruises ships, I spent time with Daniel and Rafael exploring what was around each and every corner. They hung out at the bar with fluted glasses of champagne, strolled along the deck while holding hands, and slipped into their formal wear for a stop at the hallway of mirrors.
Engagement pictures are such an important part of your Miami wedding experience. They allow you to take a moment to stop and celebrate the newfound union in your life. You get to be present and let the happiness of your upcoming wedding wash over you while leaving behind the stresses of planning. Engagement pictures also give you the ability to step in front of the camera before your wedding day. For many of my couples, engagement pictures are the first time they experience professional photography. I love the ability to work with my couples prior to their wedding, and for this reason, But also because I want to get to know them better. I want to see what the physical version of their love language is; the way they embrace one another, and how they look into each other’s eyes in those knowing moments.

Daniel and Rafael’s upcoming wedding is taking place on the same cruise shoot where we captured their engagement session. It seemed only fitting to spend the day exploring the ship's elegant design, and grand staircase while taking in the gorgeous views of the ocean. In particular, their willingness to be open about capturing engagement photos in various locations throughout the ship is what made their session so special.
The session kicked off with Daniel and Rafael in casual nautical attire. Crisp, pressed button-down shirts and relaxed khaki pants set the tone for a spirit of fun. Capturing these first few images of their session was all about honing in on the deep connection they share, in a way that was lighthearted and filled with joy (our colleague Jordan Gresham takes this approach for couples in Colorado as well). Daniel and Rafael are the kind of couple who know just what to say to make the other laugh. For them, smiling came easy. They could look into each other's eyes and pure joy would fill them in an instant. I knew then that what they shared was something wonderful.
After our fun moments on the deck, Daniel and Rafael traded their casual nautical attire for a more formal look. It was time for sleek black suites with elegant bow ties. This transition in attire allowed us to create a diverse range for their engagement pictures in Miami. With Daniel and Rafael looking positively aisle-ready, it wasn't hard to find a few breakout locations within the ship to add a level of artistry to their photos. You can see every moment of Daniel & Rafael’s engagement session through the images below.

Fort Lauderdale engagement photos with Andrea & Michael
Fort Lauderdale is a tropical oasis filled with easy access to the beach, and all the best places to dine or stay. I love that the city provides a landscape of year-round delight with surprises around every corner. It’s a gorgeous location where the sun always shines, and Fort Lauderdale was the perfect spot for Andrea and Michael’s engagement photos.
I met with Andrea and Michael on the streets of Fort Lauderdale for their engagement photos one sunny afternoon. The idea of capturing your engagement photos when the sun is blazing might sound off-putting to you, but I have to admit, I am not afraid of working with my couples directly in the sunlight. It always produces the best shadows and a radiant glow that cannot be duplicated.
Luckily, Andrea and Michael were on board with playing around in the streets of Fort Lauderdale when the sun was at its peak. Not only that, but they came dressed to impress. Andrea was positively luminous in a shimmery celestial gown covered in a layer of tulle with embroidered stars. She paired her gown with a pair of gold platform sandals, professional hair & makeup, and, of course, her sparkling engagement ring. Michael was chic in every sense of the word. He wore a crisp white suit jacket with a blue dress shirt, and he skipped the tie. I love that more and more of my grooms to be are ditching their ties for their engagement session. It gives their look the perfect blend of chic with a dash of casual thrown in the mix.
We began Andrea and Michael’s engagement photos in Fort Lauderdale in front of a few iconic locations. One of our first stops was the “Greetings from Fort Lauderdale” mural. Anytime I work with clients on their engagement photos or wedding portraits in South Florida, I love to take advantage of the vibrant street art as a backdrop. It’s such a unique way to add varying backdrops to their photos while bringing a fun level of whimsy to their session.
You can find more details about working with me for your Fort Lauderdale engagement photos, at this link
Next, we began to stroll through the streets and made some unplanned stops along the way. It’s amazing how the flow of traffic, the front of a hotel, or even a coastal divider; seemingly everyday things, can suddenly transform into an artistic scene. That has to be one of the many things I love about working with my couples in Fort Lauderdale to capture their engagement photos. There is never a shortage of inspiring settings to transform their day into a celebration of their engagement and their upcoming wedding.
We ended the session on the beach. Andrea ditched her heels to walk along the beach with Michale as the whitecaps of the Atlantic Ocean gently lapped the shore. We had the beach all to ourselves and the only sound present were the seagulls cawing in the distance. I was able to get Andrea and Michael to comfortably sit in the sand for a few more snaps before our time together drew to a close. I have to admit, they were absolutely natural in front of the camera. They are so at home in each other’s arms, and they weren’t shy about cuddling up close to one another while I captured their engagement photos on Fort Lauderdale Beach. You can see all the details of their session, by scrolling through the photos below.

Tatiana and Eddie’s engagement photos in Miami were on a whole different level! I love it when my couples come to me with fresh ideas for shooting their engagement photos in Miami. Whether it’s at a museum, on the beach, or a gorgeous location like Vizcaya, all it takes is one simple “I think we’d like to do this” and then we are off and running! Click below to see more!
The backdrop for Tatiana and Eddie’s engagement photos in Miami was the Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne! And yes, we can shoot your engagement photos at a hotel and they will still be just as unique as your love story. The couple had booked a room at the hotel so it gave us a bit more space to work with. They popped champagne on their balcony, we walked around the gorgeous fountain nearby, and we even dropped into the hotel bar.
It all sounds like a pretty typical engagement shoot, right? Well, the thing that really brought their shoot to the next level was their attire and their props! Eddie was dressed in a black tux with a bow tie and Tatiana had a selection of gorgeous white dresses that clung to her body perfectly. She also added a cathedral veil to part of her shoot for an iconic moment at the bar. Which goes back to my point, your engagement shoot can be whatever you want it to be. If you want to wear your veil, I say, let’s do it! If you want to be in a bikini on the beach, also yes! There are no rules. Lean into your style and your perspective and together we can make pure magic out of your engagement photos in Miami!
In addition to Tatiana and Eddie's gorgeous attire, their approach to props added a layer of personality to their photos. A pop of champagne, trays full of bite-size sweet treats, and two big round white balloons were all it took to give their photos that added element! To see all of the details of Tatiana and Eddie’s engagement photos at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, scroll through the photos below.

Miami Engagement Photos
The beautiful thing about capturing your Miami engagement photos is that they can be as dressed up, or as dressed down as you’re comfortable with, whether it’s an upscale location like Vizcaya, or meeting at the beach. to see more details of Isbel & Adrian’s beachside engagement photos, click below.
The beautiful thing about capturing your Miami engagement photos is that they can be as dressed up, or as dressed down as you’re comfortable with, whether it’s an upscale location like Vizcaya, or meeting at the beach. In the city of endless summer, we have the ability to head to some of the most beautiful outdoor locations, any time of the year. However, Miami is known for some of the most gorgeous beaches. Turquoise blue waters await and the warm white sands meet the shore as if greeting an old friend.
What I love about the couples I work with is that they are always up to the challenge and trust my direction. Being able to trust your photographer to bring your engagement photos to life is so important in creating a beautiful range of photos that fit the vision you had in mind.
For Isbel & Adrian, we set out to capture their Miami engagement photos, at the beach, during sunset. The water is warm and the light gently dances across the softly lapping waves. And, with any luck, if you know the right beach, we’ll get the space all to yourself. Allowing us the creative freedom to make your engagement photos just the right amount of steamy.
Playing in the sand is required and hopping in the water is a must. And if you're willing to get as adventurous as Isbel and Adrian then we can make magic together. For their session, it was all about leaning into the romantic moments they shared. But in a way that left it open to the imagination. An embrace in the water, a kiss in the sand, or jeans that were wet around the ankle from wading through the water. Those small elements made a big impact on turning the dial up on their steamy Miami engagement photos.
For our session, Isbel had her hair and makeup professionally done. Her look was easy and natural but absolutely beautiful. Perfectly done for a photo shoot at the beach. Of course, I kept that in mind when it was time for her and Adrian to get in the water. To see more of their Miami engagement photos, keep scrolling!

Miami Design District Engagement Photos
These engagement photos captured in the Miami Design District, took place on the rooftop of the Museum Garage. There are an endless number of locations in Miami to capture engagement photos. But to take a location like the Design District and strip it down to a rooftop view makes it a more intimate experience. Click below for more.
These steamy engagement photos captured in the Miami Design District, took place on the rooftop of the Museum Garage. The Miami Design District is a neighborhood known for its sleek architecture, art galleries, and luxurious boutiques. Public art installations mark the streets, making it feel as if you are stepping out of the busy nightlife that Miami is known for, and into another world.
Undoubtedly, the Miami Design District is an extraordinary backdrop for the engagement photos of any local couple. But, when it came to capturing the celebrated moments of my brother’s recent engagement, I knew a rooftop view of Miami’s sunny, cloudless sky with the Design District far off in the horizon would be the perfect way to celebrate this moment.
We often say that our client journey takes our couples from feeling like old friends to becoming family. However, this time we mean it quite literally! Yes, as siblings we may tease each other mercilessly (who doesn’t?!) And yes we’re both business owners in South Florida who have found community in the creative economy. But, this moment is a departure from our everyday lives. A milestone for all of our family and friends, and a memory in the making for my brother and his long-time partner on their journey to be joined in marriage. Working in such a heart-centered business as the wedding industry, I am often humbled to be such an integral part of any couple’s wedding day. Having a place in my brother’s journey to the altar, as his engagement photographer, is no different.
There are an endless number of locations in Miami to capture engagement photos. But to take a location like the Design District and strip it down to a rooftop view makes it a more intimate experience. One that removes the busy foot traffic, loud sounds, and views obstructed by tall buildings. Doing so kept the focus on the Guillermo & Lisandra. Allowing us time to shoot their engagement photos at a relaxed pace, with minimal distraction.
They donned chic attire and sunglasses, with one red hot prop in the backdrop! A vintage v8 Ford Mustang! To see all the details of their session, scroll through the photos below.

Miami Engagement Photographer
As a Miami engagement photographer, I love how the unique landscape of the city has so many tucked-away spaces to curate a gorgeous collection of photos for your engagement shoot!
Renee is originally from Miami but relocated to Korea, where she found the love of her life. Needless to say, she opted to stay in Korea to be with her person, GB. However, once they became engaged, she knew she wanted to travel back home to Miami to celebrate the moment. Opting to capture their engagement photos in Miami allowed Renee to celebrate her Cuban roots while showing GB the city she calls home. I am beyond honored that they chose me as their Miami engagement photographer, and I knew that this session had to be something truly exceptional.
During our time together, we spent Renee and GB’s session walking around the immaculate grounds of their gorgeous hotel. There were open-air art installations, beautiful stone walkways, and a pool deck (with cabanas!) that we had all to ourselves. The sun was shining through the towering palm trees and with the expectation of a few lone clouds that straggled by, the sky was like a scene from a postcard.
The hotel was in close proximity to the beach, so Renee and GB kicked off their shoes and we made our way down to the shore. Where the sand meets the sea, they walk hand in hand kicking waves, smiling, and delighting in each other's company. All too often, once couples become engaged, they tend to feel the pressure of wedding planning preparations, making it a race to the altar. But, it’s so important to enjoy this moment; your relationship just went from dating to a forever kind of thing, that is worthy of a celebration! Want to see more of Renee & GB’s fabulous session? Jennifer & Hasiel's Key Biscayne Engagement Photos
Key Biscayne is one of the most picturesque locations in South Florida to capture engagement photos! I’ve worked with so many of my couples on their engagement sessions at Bill Baggs State Park, but for Jennifer and Haisel’s engagement photos, we took a much different approach!
I met Jennifer and Hasiel for their session near the Key Biscayne bridge. These high school sweethearts arrived in Haisel’s Bentley! And yes, they are “love at first sight” high school sweethearts! They met all the way back in 6th grade while riding around the neighborhood on a golf cart. Shortly after they met, they began talking to each other in secret. That is, until Jennifer’s mom found out and put a stop to it. But they managed to reconnect during their freshman year of high school. Believe it or not, they have been going strong ever since! Isn’t that the sweetest story?!
On the day of their shoot, when Jennifer and Hasiel pulled up in the Bentley, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to have some fun with it! Jennifer came to the session dressed to kill with her hair and makeup done by her. She looked beyond gorgeous! The couple’s chic style, the hot car, and popping open a bottle at the end of their session (away from the car of course!) made this session truly memorable. By the way, the Corvette you’ll see in the photos below was already on site when we arrived. The owner was kind enough to let us use it as part of the shoot!
This super sweet, love-at-first-sight couple loves to spend their time together riding ATV’s, boating, dining at some of their favorite Miami restaurants, and just hanging out at home with their family. Though they admitted that wedding planning can sometimes be stressful, they are looking forward to the day they can celebrate “making it official” with all of the people they love and cherish in attendance. Scroll through the photos below to see Jennifer & Hasiel’s engagement photos at the Key Biscayne Bridge!

Goldcoast Railroad Museum Engagement Photos
Yohana & James' engagement photos at the Goldcoast Railroad Museum evoke the style of a 1940s romance!
Located in Miami, The Gold Coast Railroad Museum has a mission of preserving, exhibiting, and operating historic railway equipment. It currently houses over 40 historic rail cars including a Presidential Rail Car, a model railroad room, and a Naval Air Station Richmond exhibit. They open up their museum to photoshoots, making it a gorgeous location in Miami to shoot your engagement photos. Especially if you are looking for a venue that is out of the ordinary. One that allows you to create fun, playful, themed engagement photos!
My bride and groom-to-be, Yohaha and James, are a fun couple with a unique love story. Befitting of their unique nature, they decided to dress up in vintage 1940s attire for their Goldcoast Railroad Museum engagement photos. Yohana in a red jacket dress with a black fascinator and birdcage veil. James wearing a black suit with a dapper bow tie and top hat. Paired with a vintage box suitcase, they look like two lovers greeting each other at the train station after a long separation.
Yohana and I met years ago through a mutual friend, and always found a way to stay in touch. I could not be happier for her and James to tie the knot later this year at the Cooper Estate! It will be a full circle moment from shooting Yohana and James’ engagement photos, to capturing every moment of their wedding day with photos and video! Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden Engagement Photos | Katherine & Mark
An oasis of botanical gardens right in the heart of Coral Gables, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is where I met Katherine and Mark for their engagement photos!
There’s no shortage of gorgeous locations in Miami to choose from when scheduling your engagement session. In fact, it can feel like an overwhelming decision to make when planning for your shoot. You might feel like you’re missing out by not picking one of the more popular locations. But it comes down to selecting a location that truly reflects not only who you are, but the love that you share. I think that’s one of the best-kept secrets of capturing gorgeous engagement photos!
For Katherine and Mark, I don’t think I could have possibly imagined them in a different setting. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is a gorgeous venue, but it really complimented Katherine and Mark’s love story. The sultry looks, the tender handholding, and the soft embraces. Their beautiful smiles were made bright by the backdrop of the soft-lit sun and the lush vibrant foliage that surrounded them.
Luckily, we were blessed with gorgeous weather on the day we met for their engagement session. But really, Katherine and Mark, with their easy-going nature and their willingness to be free in front of the camera, is what made their session so amazing. Katherine and Mark’s upcoming wedding will be held at Trump National Doral Miami. But for now, you can scroll through the blog below to see each and every moment of their engagement session at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden!

Vizcaya Museum Engagement Photos | Morgan & AJ
Looking for an iconic, picturesque backdrop for your Miami engagement photos? Vizcaya Museum is the location that delivers unparalleled beauty with historic charm, and it’s located just outside the busy streets of Miami!
My beautiful couple, Morgan and AJ are both familiar with South Florida but currently reside in Pittsburgh. AJ is a former South Florida resident, so as you can imagine he and Morgan have traveled back and forth together on numerous occasions. Their love for South Florida is what led them back to the area during the pre-wedding planning process. There was no question in their mind that when it came to their engagement photos, they had to schedule their shoot at Vizcaya!
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a Miami staple, especially for couples shooting their engagement photos, and it’s not hard to see why! The historic villa and estate home turned museum and gardens was built in 1916 for James Deering. The original structure still stands today and you can see all of its original beauty and splendor with a tour of the estate. Vizcaya is perched over the waters of Biscayne Bay, where you’ll catch a glimpse of the sunken stone barge as you stroll by. The barge, made of concrete and locally sourced coral, was a commissioned piece of artwork in the 19th century that Deering used to entertain his guests.
On the grounds of Vizcaya, you’ll find over 10 acres of beautifully manicured gardens that feel as though you’ve left the streets of Miami and have suddenly stepped inside an English Garden. With stone stairways and hidden corners, it’s a romantic location to explore with your fiance! I had a wonderful afternoon visiting Vizcaya with Morgan & AJ to capture their love story. Matheson Hammock Park Engagement Photos
Matheson Hammock is a beautiful local park to shoot your engagement photos! For this session, I met Janette and Ruben on a gorgeous Miami afternoon to capture their story!
Janette and Ruben’s wedding will take place at the Biltmore, early next year. From “engaged” to husband and wife, we are beyond excited to celebrate their union! Janette, my beautiful bride-to-be, is the sister of one of my former grooms! I think it speaks volumes to me when I hear from the family members of my past clients. For us, the Dipp Experience has always been about being invested in your story. It's not just about “showing up” on the day of a wedding, with a camera in hand, to snap some photos before you ride off into your happily-ever-after moment. I want to know what brought the two of you together. I want to hear the details of your proposal story. I want to see the Pinterest boards you have organized for your upcoming wedding. And, I also want to honor the friends and family in your life surrounding you during your special moment. So when I hear “I’m the sister/cousin/friend” of your past client, it makes my heart soar!
I know that so many couples love the idea of meeting at Vizcaya for their engagement session. I definitely can’t blame them, it’s a gorgeous, historic location bursting with charm, just waiting for memories to be made. However, its popularity also means, that on any given day of the week it will be bustling with other couples walking the grounds for the exact same reason! So, if you’re looking for a location to shoot your engagement photos that is a bit more laid back and less crowded and also by the waters of Biscayne Bay, then Matheson Hammock Park is an equally amazing place!
Janette and Ruben absolutely killed it for their engagement session at Matheson Hammock Park. Janette came to the shoot with professional hair and makeup done by I do Bridal Glam. PS: I always recommend getting professional hair and makeup done for your engagement photos! And Janette and Ruben even worked in an outfit change for their session. The love they share is so sweet, but I think I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking! Nicole & Brians Engagement Session | Miami Engagement Photographer
From time to time as a Miami Engagement Photographer, I hop aboard the occasional boat to capture my couple’s love story! It’s true, and I always end up having a total blast with my clients.
Being able to shoot Nicole & Brian’s engagement photos, was special to me in so many ways. I’ve actually known Nicole since high school! So when we got together for this session it was like a fun reunion, hanging out with an old friend. Of course, with my sole focus and intention set on capturing the love that she and Brian share!
For their shoot, Nicole and Brian took advantage of one of the biggest benefits that Miami has to offer! It’s proximity to the gorgeous waters of the Atlantic. They worked with Pro Yachting to get us out on the water for the day, with only the horizon as our backdrop. Sounds dreamy right? Nicole came ready to the session in full hair and makeup perfectly done by Beauty by Chiky.
I’m not going to lie, the sea was a little choppy that day. But Nicole and Brian looked amazing. The wind got the better of Nicole’s hair over time, but her makeup and outfits were on point and not only did we make it work, she totally killed it! Nicole and Brian were so fun to be around, it made their shoot a true experience. The shaky sea didn’t bother them one bit! We spent the day walking around the boat completely barefoot, soaking up their love story. We topped it all off with the pop of a champagne bottle and a little toast for the soon-to-be newlyweds! Scroll through the blog below to see every moment of their engagement session!

Bill Baggs State Park Engagement Photos | Alyson & Michael
Alyson & Michael love enjoying the beach together as a couple, so there was no question about meeting at Bill Baggs State Park for their Engagement Photos!
Michael popped the question when the couple was on a trip to Puerto Rico for Michael’s mom’s birthday. Michael’s whole family was in on it and apparently told Alyson to pack a nice outfit for a night out they were planning that would include dinner on the beach. Almost unthinkingly, my beautiful bride also went to have her nails done. She thought that a trip to Puerto Rico called for a manicure full of bright bold colors, and something fun and tropical.
On the night of the big proposal, Michael’s mom gave Alyson the heads up that this would be their ‘fancy dinner out’ so Alyson rushed to get ready. The couple often likes to dress in coordinated outfits, and that night they both wore blue. Coincidentally, the color blue represents the healing nature of water and is a marker of loyalty and fidelity. How is that for fate?!
As the couple was “waiting” for the rest of Michael's family to head out to their ‘fancy dinner’, a photographer who had been posing as their tour guide/family friend asked if he could snap a photo of the couple. They then headed out for a pre-dinner drink when Michael suggested that they take a walk on the beach alone as they ‘waited’ for his family. When they walked down the steps to the beach Alyson saw chairs, candles, and champagne set up, but again she didn’t think anything of it because this was typically the way that Michael set things up for her on date nights (awww!).
Scroll all the way through to see Alyson & Michael’s Bill Baggs Engagement Photos!
The couple continued their walk down to the beach to enjoy the sunset on the waters of Puerto Rico when Michael fell to one knee and proposed. My sweet bride was so shocked and overcome with joy that she could not stop crying! The ring was an absolutely gorgeous radiant cut diamond with a halo and diamonds all along the band. It was everything she could have possibly dreamed of and more. At the time of the proposal, the couple, who are both now accountants were in the middle of studying for their CPA licenses so Alyson was truly shocked that Michael had chosen this time in their lives to make it official.
The remainder of their evening was spent celebrating and sipping champagne with the groom's family. Once they arrived home from their trip, they held a formal engagement party so that Alyson’s family could attend and celebrate this exciting new chapter!
I love how their proposal happened at the beach in Puerto Rico. Then their Engagement Photoshoot took place at Billy Baggs Park (more beach!) And lastly, Alyson & Michael’s wedding day will be held at Briza on the Bay (more water!)

Robbins Park Engagement Photos | Karla & Vladimir
Karla & Vladimir did an amazing job in front of the camera for their Robbins Park Engagement Photos!
When I tell you that my couple was serious fun, wait until you see the way they ended their engagement session! Vladimir popped the cork on a bottle of champagne, that went spraying everywhere, including Karla’s gown, and it did not bother her one bit. They were both so in the moment and focused on having a fun session that it made for some amazing photos!
Curious to know how I met this amazing couple? Through my cousin! Karla is her best friend. Isn’t that sweet? When my cousin heard the happy news of their engagement, she put me in touch with them ASAP and the results of their shoot were pure magic!
Almost all of my couples love to go glam for their engagement sessions. And one thing that my brides always get right is a stunning floating gown with a thigh-high split. But Karla took it a step further. Want to know a photographer's secret? She wore nude heels with her gorgeous red gown and they made her legs look long and amazing. If you want to go for the same high vibe glam look for your engagement photos, I highly recommend pairing your gown with nude sandals!
Karla and Vladimir are getting married in July of this year and I cannot wait to celebrate with them and be there to capture every single moment! Scroll all the way to see the details of their engagement photos, including the champagne pop!

Vizcaya Museum Engagement Session | Kayla & Steven
Kayla & Steven are engaged!! The bride and groom celebrated their love with a Vizcaya Museum Engagement Session.
Kayla & Steven were engaged in Detroit and took advantage of their January vacation in Miami to have their engagement photos taken! They found Dipp Photography on Instagram! (PS: you can too, right here > @dippphotography) and from there, we were able to set up their engagement session!
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is a photographer’s dream for photoshoots in Miami! It is packed with historical architecture located on the waters of Biscayne Bay and it is flooded with the gorgeous rays of the Miami sun, yes please!
Wait until you see the dress that Kayla chose for the shoot! She wore a barely pink, above-the-knee dress that looks like it was made for a Vizcaya Engagement Session! Steven chose a navy blue sports jacket and matching pants. When the time came, Steven ditched his jacket for some close-up photos with his sweet fiancé.
There are so many intricate details and places to explore for your engagement photoshoot on the grounds of Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. From the framed wrought iron entryway to the garden, to the historical European style staircases, and the views overlooking Biscayne Bay, and we captured them all for Kayla & Steven!

Bill Baggs Park Engagement Photography | Ainet & Edward
Ainet and Edwards Bill Baggs Park Engagement Photography was epic!
The bride and groom-to-be met during their freshman year of college at FIU, in Biology class. I was matched with the couple by Events by Priscilla. And she could not have done a better job pairing us together! Here’s how I know we were the perfect match for working together. Ainet and Edward were shy at first being in front of the camera. Which you’d never be able to guess by looking at their photos below. But I was able to bond with the bride over the fact that we both grew up in Hialeah, Florida. Once we were able to establish a bond over our common ground, they were able to relax and we captured some really sweet and romantic moments!
Capturing your engagement photos on the beach or at a location like Bill Baggs park is all about getting the perfect light! There are two times of the day that photographers refer to as golden hour that captures this magic. The period of time right after the sun rises (you typically have about an hour window for this!) or the period time right before sunset! If you’re going for sunset, the glow in your photos will have more of a subtle reddish hue! In addition to catching amazing light at these times of day, you have the added bonus of (usually!) having the location all to yourself, which means you don’t have to feel awkward about onlookers as you pose for your engagement photos!

Prado Entrance Coral Gables Engagement Session | Darlene & Marty
Darlene & Marty are such a loving couple, capturing their Prado Entrance Engagement Session in Coral Gables was easy going and romantic!
Coral Gables Prado Entrance is a Miami photoshoot hot spot! The location is most commonly used for capturing engagement sessions and wedding photos! With its stone archways and elevated fountain, it’s easy to see why so many local couples visit the historic location for their photos! Luckily, my bride and groom-to-be live right next to this historic hot spot so it was the perfect location choice for their session.
When Darlene and Marty reached out to me to shoot their love story, I was on the verge of sending back an email that said I wasn’t available. But, as fate would have it, a last-minute reschedule left my calendar open and I was able to work with them! Isn’t it funny how things work out sometimes?
When I met Darlene and Marty for their engagement session, I could easily see what a sweet and loving couple they are! They were so gentle with each other, and I loved that they weren’t afraid to be touchy feel either! Their easy-going nature allowed us to squeeze in two outfit looks for their engagement session.
For their more formal look, Darlene wore an off-the-shoulder red hot floor-length gown and Marty wore a casual black suit with his jacket open and no tie. When it came to their more relaxed looks Darlene wore a cute but sweet white cotton eyelet sundress with long sleeves, and Marty wore a white cotton Ralph Lauren button-down shirt, with his sleeves rolled up, and a pair of black jeans! They also brought their adorable fur baby along for part of their engagement session and that little doggy was so proud to be part of Mom and Dad’s special moment!

Sailboat Engagement Photoshoot Miami | Amy & Chris
Amy and Chris are celebrating their love with a Sailboat Engagement Photoshoot in Miami!
The bride and groom-to-be’s love story goes way back to when the couple was in their teens! They rekindled their relationship in their late 20s and now they are set to be married.
When we met for their engagement photoshoot, it was a typical Miami day. Hot, hot, and hot! The heat nearly killed us all that day but Amy and Chris both worked with it and the end result was amazing! I love the entire vibe this couple had with each other for their shoot, and hopping aboard a sailboat was just that added extra touch.
The thing I love so much about shooting this couple aboard a sailboat is that we were able to use the softly lapping waves behind them as their backdrop. However, you know I just had to snap a few shots that include the Miami skyline in the backdrop too!
Amy and Chris came to their shoot dressed to perfection! Amy wore a sizzling white-hot two-piece outfit. The skirt of her outfit had thigh-high button-down slits on either side. She topped off her outfit with a pair of gold metallic raffia wedges. Chris wore a crisp button-down shirt with his sleeves rolled up so he could take the wheel during their shoot! He paired his look with khaki shorts and slide-on boat shoes.
