Seafair Mega Yacht Wedding Miami

Rayshawn Jenkins of the Seattle Seahawks and his beautiful wife Emily were married in an elegant soiree aboard the SeaFair Mega Yacht in Miami.

But, Seafair Mega Yacht is truly an iconic wedding venue in all that it provided for Emily and Rayshawn’s wedding day. Perched along a dock at the bay, SeaFair Mega Yacht provides couples with an immersive wedding day experience. Emily and Rayshawn took this approach when wedding planning their dream wedding day. They looked at different key elements they could bring to their guests, to create an unforgettable night of celebration.

Emily and her wedding party spent the morning of the wedding preparing in her suite at the Intercontinental Brickell. The hair and makeup team was on hand to provide Emily and her wedding party with glam looks, evoking the effortless feel of a bride preparing to marry at sea. As a Miami wedding photographer, I have always maintained the importance of making my brides feel confident on their wedding day. To begin the day, I worked with Emily on bridal portraits that depicted those cherished getting moments. The moments when she was able to soak it all in, snuggling her daughter, and preparing to embark on this journey together with Rayshawn. Emily's unique vision for her wedding day attire was a work of art. While preparing in her getting-ready suite, Emily donned a long dramatic sheer robe with layers of ruffles gathered at the sleeves and along the train. While it's evident that this piece of pre-wedding attire was heavy on dramatic tones, Emily stepped into the look so seamlessly.

As Emily prepared in her hote suite, Rayshawn was aboard SeaFair’s Mega Yacht, taking in the quiet moments. As a groom, Rayshawn was the definition of down-to-earth. His pace was relaxed and at ease as anticipated the day ahead. Before meeting Emily for their first look on the sweeping lawn adjacent to the Mega Yacht, Rayshawn enjoyed a few laughs with his groomsmen and a tender moment embracing his son. That adorable moment between father and son is one we hope they look back on and cherish for a lifetime.

The Miami skyline is notorious for its crystal blue skies and towering buildings off in the distance. When Emily and Rayshawn’s wedding ceremony began aboard the deck of the SeaFair Mega Yacht, there was hardly a cloud in the sky. Their ceremony space was set with bountiful creamy white floral arrangements paired with hints of baby pink for a romantic feel. Their ceremony space aboard the deck was the epitome of an immersive romantic setting where guests could watch Emily and Rayshawn recite their sacred vows of marriage. The sun blazed overhead with every detail planned to perfection, as Emily and Rayshawn became husband and wife.

The evening's celebration included interactive elements that were meant for all of Emily and Rayshawns guests to enjoy. There was a live painter creating an artistic scene of the day in real-time. Additionally, guests were treated to cigar rolling and live music throughout the night. The evening was complete with a hora loca that filled the air of their reception with an electric kind of energy that brought all of the guests out onto the dance floor as they bid a sweet goodbye to Emily and Rayshawn.
