Palms Hotel Wedding Miami

The Palms Hotel and Spa in Miami Beach is an elegant but laid-back wedding venue. It is located directly parallel to the blue-green waters of the beach. Making it a fabulous wedding venue for couples who want sunset photos by the water.

Kristi and Louis are an amazing couple, originally from New York, who knew that they wanted to plan their wedding at the Palms Hotel. They are both so down to earth and they enjoyed every moment of their wedding day by being present and going with the flow. In fact, they decided to forgo a first look on their wedding day and meet at the altar. Many couples worry that skipping a first look might leave them with a less-than-stellar wedding photography experience. But, Kristi and Louis were so open to our ideas that we were able to have a fun creative experience on their wedding day. Leaving them with a wide range of wedding photos with every possible backdrop at our disposal.

Kristi and Louis's engagement story unfolded when the couple was three years into their journey together. One fateful date night, Louis took Kristi out to the same restaurant where they had their first date. It was there that he asked Kristi to be his wife. The surprise engagement was only a portion of their story. Louis also set up a surprise engagement party the next night, for the couple to celebrate with all of their family and friends. With so much thought and detail behind their engaement story, it should come as no surprise that their wedding day was filled with personalized elements that reflected their personalities as well.

One element, that could not have been planned, was the arrival of two special visitors. During their vows, two doves landed on the top of the gazebo where Kristi and Louis’s ceremony took place! It was a beautifully symbolic moment to see the birds that represent peace and love, attending their wedding.

Once they were pronounced husband and wife, it was time to hit the beach. Kristi, Louis, and their wedding party all took a walk with us to the beach for some epic moments in front of the colorful lifeguard stand on Miami Beach. With the wedding party photos captured, we turned our attention to the bride and groom. Kristi was so amazing about walking through the sand in her wedding dress, with her veil floating in the wind behind her.
