Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables Miami Wedding
Janette and Ruben’s wedding at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables Miami was incredibly romantic and filled with personal details!
It’s always a special moment for us when we get to celebrate familiar faces on their wedding day. Janette is the sister of one of our past grooms, so I was elated to hear that she was now planning the wedding of her dreams. Her wedding took place nearly a year after her brothers. Isn’t life funny in the best ways sometimes? Having the opportunity to work with Janette and her groom, Ruben, at the Biltmore Hotel was amazing because it gave us the opportunity to step into a room of familiar friendly faces. The only difference was that this time, the focus was on Janette and Ruben’s love story!
Janette and Ruben are a very easygoing, laid-back couple, but they are so incredibly romantic! Not only in the way they interacted with each other but with the level of detail they put into every aspect of their wedding day. Janette’s long lace-trimmed mantilla veil was previously worn by her sister on her wedding day, making it a modern heirloom in their family. The bride’s bouquet and the groom's suit were both adorned with memorial photo charms to honor the memory of their loved ones. Additionally, the groom's suit was custom embroidered with the date that they became husband and wife.
All in all, their romantic wedding was planned to perfection. Their color palette consisted of a classic approach with a modern twist, using tones of black and gold with floral greenery to tie everything together! There were nearly 200 guests in attendance as Janette and Ruben became husband and wife. Once they were pronounced, they took to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple to the song ADMVA by Maluma. Scroll through the blog below to see all the details of Janette and Ruben’s wedding at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Miami!

Biltmore Hotel Wedding | Coral Gables
The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables is a dreamy venue in Southern Florida to set the scene for your unforgettable wedding day! Usually, when couples think of the Biltmore Hotel, they think of grand wedding days with hundreds of guests. But, you might be surprised to know that the Biltmore accommodates weddings of all sizes! From intimate vows to receptions with long guest tables and overflowing florals, this gorgeous Mediterranean-style wedding venue celebrates it all!
My beautiful bride and groom, Lauren, and Craig became husband and wife at the Biltmore with their loving friends and family in attendance, cheering them on! When I work with my couples on their wedding day, I always like to start with those “before” moments. Whether they are still getting ready, preparing for a first look, or just taking a moment to breathe it all in before their day gets started. Those before shots are always so telling of their love story and what their perception is of the day ahead of them. I also love being able to capture the raw excitement that lies just beneath the surface. It’s a type of magic that makes my job as their wedding photographer so special and a feeling that my couples will carry with them always.
Lauren had members of her bridal party on hand when getting ready. Along with one very special little four-legged friend! Seriously so cute, wait until you see! Craig was cool, calm, and collected in his chic suit. But in each other's arms, they were at home. There is a peaceful easy-going nature about them that makes them a perfectly paired couple.
From Laurens's gorgeous gown and cathedral-length veil to their sweet furbaby and their sacred vows, you’ll get to see each and every moment of Lauren and Craig’s wedding at the Biltmore Hotel, in the photos below!

An Intimate At-Home Wedding in Miami | Paola & Michael
Paola & Michael had an intimate wedding at their beautiful home in Miami, ahead of their destination wedding in Colombia.
Oftentimes, a destination wedding abroad is not considered a legally binding ceremony. Which usually means the couple will have to hold an official ceremony at home in the states before their destination wedding. Paola and Michael knew that they’d have to tie the knot here in Miami, before packing up for their big wedding day in Colombia, where all of their friends and family would be in attendance to celebrate. So they took what was meant to be an intimate ceremony and turned it into something deeply beautiful and meaningful.
The bride and groom wanted to start the year as a married couple, so the official date of their intimate at-home ceremony was January 1st! Isn’t that such an incredible idea? And because it was so close to the holidays, Paola and Michael still had their Christmas tree up. It was in front of the towering tree decked out in gorgeous silver, gold, and white decorations, that they became husband and wife.
Another benefit of having their intimate wedding ceremony at their Miami home was the bride and groom's sweet puppy got to take part in their union. Their sweet pup was dressed for the special occasion with a tiny tuxedo bandana, so adorable! You’ll get to see his special appearance in the photos below!
Looking back at Paola and Michael’s intimate wedding, one thing is for sure, they were wrapped up in so much joy and love for each other. It’s evident in every intimate moment of their day.

SLS Brickell Miami Wedding | Shahira & Alex
Shahira & Alex’s wedding at SLS Brickell Miami was amazing. There were so many modern-day elements fused with their culture, and let me tell you, their taste is impeccable!
My bride and groom initially met nearly five years ago at a brunch party. One of the bride's good friends just so happened to have gone to college with Alex. Introductions were made, and from that point on they experienced life side by side. Or, they became inseparable as Shahira would say! They’ve traveled the world together to experience new cultures and they love to play tennis and ski together. When they’re not busy traveling or staying active they slow down for date night by trying new restaurants and sipping wine.
As far as the proposal, well that didn’t happen until their fourth anniversary. Shahira and Alex are both from Canada. During lockdowns, they were prohibited from traveling, but as soon as the borders opened up they took a trip to Miami to visit the bride's best friend. From there, Shahira and Alex continued on to the Bahamas together. During the third night of their trip, which also happened to fall on their four-year anniversary, Alex took Shahira down by the shore and surprised her by dropping down on one knee and asking for her hand in marriage. The proposal took place at SLS Baha Mar, making SLS a special part of their story, which is why they later decided to host their wedding at SLS Brickell Miami.
Their wedding at SLS Brickell Miami was so stunning! Everything was a gorgeous crisp shade of white with small touches of black added in. Shahira’s wedding gown was a romantic lacy off-the-shoulder dress, and she was a gorgeous bride. But where my bride and groom made the biggest splash was on the dance floor. They had a traditional Arabic Zaffa and nobody could resist hitting the dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds. Scroll through the blog below to every moment of Shahira & Alex’s wedding day!

Harbour House Oceanfront Venue Wedding
This beautiful Harbour House Oceanfront Venue wedding blended together the bride's Cuban heritage with the groom's American roots. Their day beautifully embraced each of their cultures in a union filled with love!
Harbour House is a private oceanfront wedding venue, where you can say I do on the beautiful shores of Indian Harbour Beach in Florida. They specialize in all-inclusive wedding packages so that you can get married in a gorgeous setting, in a fun, stress-free way! Though Roxana and James' wedding day was planned to absolute perfection, it definitely had that easygoing feeling to it.
The theme of Roxana and James' wedding day was lush and tropical meets romantic. There were gorgeous creamy florals just about everywhere. Roxana’s gown was flowy and dreamy and positively covered in lace! The skirting of her dress had these panels of tulle throughout, which looked amazing when it was time to shoot their wedding photos in the sand!
When it was time to shoot their wedding portraits, we went for a walk along the beach. Roxana and James were so at ease with each other in those moments. It made for some of the most authentic memories created on their wedding day. Roxana kicked off her sparkly wedding shoes and walked barefoot in the sand, hand in hand, and side by side with James.
A beautiful reception celebration awaited the bride and groom where they enjoyed the night in the company of their family and friends. When it was time to bid the newlyweds farewell, their guests held sparklers high on either side of their exit, where they enjoyed one more wedding day kiss. Scroll through the photos below to see each & every moment!

Mario & Chelsey's Penthouse at Riverside Wharf Wedding
Mario & Chelsey's Penthouse at Riverside Wharf wedding was epic!
In the wedding industry, oftentimes, wedding vendors work together side by side at wedding after wedding. We are there for one another when the night feels long, and we are the first ones to tell our new couples about each other's amazing services in the hopes that we’ll see each other again at the next wedding. Over time, we become industry friends who feel more like one great big family. So when a wedding industry friend gets married and you get to work at their wedding, it feels like there is this sort of electric energy in the air, all night long!
That’s the best way I can easily sum up the feeling of working at Mario & Chelsey’s wedding. Mario, also known as DJ Fuego, and his beautiful bride Chelsey are officially husband and wife. But their wedding day was like any you’ve ever seen before! They completely transformed their wedding venue, Penthouse at Riverside Wharf. There were flowers everywhere! Hanging from the ceiling (literally), in floor-height arrangements, and overflowing on the tables tops. There was a custom-wrapped dance floor monogrammed with the couple's initials, and the best part, there was a shower of cold sparklers coming down from above as they dance to celebrate their new union. It was such a beautiful moment. And, if you’re wondering whether the groom took time out of his wedding day to get behind the DJ booth and turn the party up, well, I’ll let you take a guess!

Secret Gardens Miami Wedding | Dayana & Christian
Dayana & Christian’s Secret Gardens Miami Wedding was utterly romantic and absolutely beautiful!
I think that Dayana & Christian are such a prime example of why it’s so important to have a first look at your wedding. Not only does it calm your nerves before you meet down the aisle. But the love and emotion that you both experience at that moment is truly magical! The moment that Christian turned around to see his bride was so joyful that it was contagious! Dayana immediately smiled when she saw his face. As their photographer, snapping that moment for them, I could feel the love that they share. That’s the other amazing thing about having a first look! It’s entirely intimate. There are no guests or members of your bridal party looking in on your private moment. It's just you, your soon-to-be husband, and of course your photographer.
After their first look, we worked together on some wedding day portraits under the tent. The train of Dayana’s gown had this unique and beautiful lace detail to it, wait until you see it! Paired with her mantilla veil, her wedding day look was soft and romantic. I swear she was glowing for the entire day! Christian also looked pretty chic in a white tux jacket that was lined with black silk lapels.
After they said I do, my bride and groom celebrated their entire way down the aisle. There was a flurry of bubbles heading their way from their guests. And plenty of time to stop for Mr & Mrs kisses! After your ceremony, once you are pronounced and make your way back down the aisle together, don’t rush! This is such a great opportunity to soak up the moment, kiss each other slowly and cement the memory of your wedding day forever!

Odrys & Leandro's Living Sculpture Sanctuary Wedding
Odrys & Leandro’s Living Sculpture Sanctuary Wedding was a beautiful day that cemented their union, and a full night of partying on the dance floor!
I would describe my couple's wedding day as lush meets boho! Their venue, Living Sculpture Sanctuary is a botanical paradise. There are sky-high trees and tropical greenery everywhere and it almost feels like you’ve escaped Miami when you step inside its secluded grounds. It’s gorgeous on its own, but when you add in boho-themed neutral florals and a couple with classic wedding day style, it creates a whole new wedding day experience!
For their vows, Leandro wore a white tux jacket lined in black satin and complimented it with a creamy off-white boutonniere and a black bowtie. Odrys wedding day look was beyond gorgeous! Her wedding dress was an all-white trumpet style, satin gown with spaghetti straps and a row of intricate buttons all the way down the back. Wait until you see how stunning it is! A gorgeous gown like that needs a dramatic veil. Odrys wore a cathedral-length veil, covered in pearls. The pearls on her veil gave the effect of shimmery falling raindrops. It was a beautiful accent for their chosen venue.
During their reception, the bride and groom surprised their guests with Hora Loca performers! Towering stilt walkers and dancers with drums and isis wings took over the dance floor to up-level the celebration for an hour of fun! By that hour of the night, my bride had already changed into her party dress and my groom ditched his suit jacket and bowtie so they could get on the dance floor and party the night away with their guests! Secret Gardens Miami Wedding | Ainet & Edward
Ainet and Edward’s Secret Gardens Miami Wedding was romantic and dreamy! Do you remember when I shared Ainet and Edwards's engagement photos in this post? This was our first time working together and their stunning engagement session was at Bill Baggs State Park. During that session, they shared with me that they met each other during their freshman year of college at FIU, in Biology class. They were such a dream to work with from the very beginning! And almost immediately, Ainet and I bonded over our shared experience of growing up in the same town. From the second I met them, there was an instant feeling of connection and friendship, and I couldn’t wait for their wedding day to arrive!
The bride and groom are self-professed “outdoor people”. They love spending their time together biking, watching the sunrise, and traveling. When they are not busy being outdoorsy, they also love trying new exotic cuisine together and going out shopping. Having such a love for the outdoors, I’d have to say that Secret Gardens Miami was the perfect wedding venue choice for their best day ever! It’s nestled in the Redlands of Miami and the property stretches over 6 acres! Throughout the property, there are plenty of gorgeous locations for capturing wedding day photos, and we took full advantage of every angle we could.
But my personal favorite has to be their first look. When Ainet and Edward laid eyes on each other for the first time on their wedding day, their faces said it all! You can literally feel the love they share for each other, jumping out at you in their first-look portraits!
Their gorgeous wedding day decor and florals were done in a color palette of dark greens, ivory, and gold. They celebrated their nuptials in an intimate wedding reception of 55 guests, before jetting off to Hawaii for their honeymoon! The Colony Hotel Palm Beach Wedding | Juliane & Jimmy
The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach was the most amazing location for Juliane and Jimmy’s wedding!
If you’re not familiar with it, The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach is a boutique-style hotel. Its style is very unique, somewhat quirky, and lots of fun! The hotel is known for its pink facade, which is a delicate shade of flamingo pink, and also for its chic and fashionable charm. If you plan on having your wedding here, you are almost guaranteed a day full of fun vibes and amazing backdrops for your wedding photos. And what I loved most about Juliane and Jimmy’s day is that they spent their day wrapped up in love, but also having a total blast. They truly had the best time for their best day ever!
We were particularly lucky on Juliane and Jimmy’s wedding day because the day was positively flooded with gorgeous natural light. As a wedding photographer, this was my absolute dream come true, best-case scenario! Natural light adds such a unique quality to your wedding photos. For Juliane and Jimmy, I was able to use this light to create heirloom quality wedding photos for them to look back on for a lifetime!
Family connections also played a big role on Juliane and Jimmy’s wedding day. My gorgeous bride had an emotional first look with her dad. The way he embraced his daughter when he laid eyes on her that day will have you holding back the happy tears. My sweet bride was overcome with emotion and love for her dad at that moment and I feel honored to have witnessed such an incredibly beautiful moment between them. If you have a close bond with your Dad, or even your Mom or a Grandparent, I highly recommend adding a first look with them to the timeline of your wedding day!
Speaking of grandparents, any guesses as to who was Juliane’s flower girl for the day? It was her Grandmother! How much do you love that?! Juliane’s grandmother took her role as the flower girl very seriously too, it was so cute! She was full of smiles as she sprinkled white rose petals down the aisle for her grandaughter's grand entrance. SLS Brickell Wedding | Kelsey & Anthony
Kelsey and Anthony’s SLS Brickell Wedding was a fun night of celebration and love!
My sweet bride and groom met each other while working at a winery in Oregon. Right before the start of the pandemic, they were on the road making the move to Miami. That’s when Anthony surprised Kelsey with a proposal! Anthony made sure that each of their families were present for the surprise proposal. Kelsey was taken aback and of course, she said yes!
Kelsey and Anthony enjoy their time together by being active either working out or going sailing. They also enjoy trying out new recipes. which of course, they enjoy along with tasting new wines!
For their SLS Brickell Wedding, Kelsey and Anthony chose a color palette of champagne, silver, and black and white. And to give things a little pop of color, Kelsey added in some brightly colored fuchsia florals to their table settings. Their wedding day was chic and stylish, but also lots of fun!
When it came to their wedding day celebration, the couple found unique ways to honor their relatives. In order to honor Anthony’s grandfather, the bride and groom set up a custom cookie station. They displayed a photo of Anthony’s grandfather along with a custom sign, and custom-created cookie bags for their guests to also enjoy some desserts to go.
To honor their Aunt Andrea, there was a flip flop station set up with a custom sign that read “Dance the night away for Aunt A”. Here, guests with tired feet who wanted to keep tearing up the dance floor could slip out of their formal shoes and into a pair of flip flops! Another unique aspect of their wedding reception was the mother-son dance. When Anthony shared a dance with his mom, the song stopped halfway through for the groom and his mom to break out into a salsa dance! It was such a fun moment, and I’m sharing it in the photos below! Thalatta Estate Wedding | Lendy & Jose
Lendy and Jose’s Thalatta Estate Wedding day was unbelievably romantic and absolutely beautiful!
Located in Palmetto Bay, Thalatta Estate is a two-story vintage home that has been part of Biscayne Bay’s history since the early 19th century. The property makes the perfect wedding venue in South Florida because of its sprawling views of Biscayne National Park. With the park so close by, you’ll often spot herons, pelicans, iguanas, and plenty of lush tropical plants and greenery when visiting Thalatta.
With the backdrop of tropical greenery and their friends and family by their side, Lendy and Jose said I do at Thalatta Estate. We took advantage of the gorgeous views on their wedding day by shooting Lendy and Jose’s wedding portraits while walking the grounds of the estate. The walkways of the estate are lined with perfectly manicured shrubs and the backdrop beyond the pathways is completely free of the towering buildings and skyscrapers typically found in Miami. With the palm trees swaying the breeze, Lendy and Jose took each other by the hand to soak up every sweet moment of their wedding day.
Lendy and Jose’s wedding day style was black tie meets romantic. Lendy wore a stunningly gorgeous off-the-shoulder wedding dress with a sculpted bodice and a full volume ballgown tulle skirt. The train of her skirt went on for days! So it was only natural that we posed her by the stone-carved balcony overlooking the bay. Her hair was loose and wavy and she topped off her bridal style with a cascading floral bouquet. Jose’s suit was a modern twist on an old wedding day classic. He wore black dress pants, a black bowtie, and a white suit jacket lined in black silk. It was very chic! Scroll photos below to see every moment of Lendy & Jose’s Thalatta Estate Wedding day!

Adventurous Antarctica Wedding With Atlas Ocean Voyages
It was the very first legal wedding ever performed in Antarctica through Atlas Ocean Voyages and Dipp Photography was there to photograph every moment!
It’s hard to imagine that my job as a wedding photographer in Miami would take me all the way to Antarctica. And, it literally happened!! A client of mine that I worked with over 5 years ago had just recently started working for Atlas Ocean Voyages when they recommended me for this extra special trip. The cruise, set up by Atlas Ocean Voyages was the trip of a lifetime for couples who wanted the chance to have an adventurous wedding in Antarctica. During this trip, we worked with 4 uniquely special couples to capture their moment in the icy reaches of the South Pole. I’m sharing a bit of info on each of the couples, plus some behind-the-scenes moments, below!

Courtnie & Brody
Courtnie and Brody are a self-proclaimed adventure-loving globe-trotting couple!! They were the very first couple on this trip to be legally married. Coincidentally they were also the very first couple in line to book this trip when the opportunity to get married in Antarctica arose. They were full of smiles and fun moments and Courtnie picked the perfect long sleeve wedding dress to stand out in Antarctica.
Karisa & Daniel
Karisa and Daniel were another couple to be legally married in the southernmost continent of the world! When it was their time to tie the knot, we got lucky with a placid ocean! This allowed us the opportunity to ride the zodiac with the cruise tour guide who was so accommodating. He took us around for some of the most breathtaking views ever!
Maria & Chris
Maria and Chris are such a sweet couple! They were so affectionate and loving with one another, and it was an absolute joy to work with them on their wedding day. As if it could get any better than that, they also went for a Game of Thrones theme with their wedding day capes! Wait until you see how awesome they looked! However, the wind got the better of us when it was their time to tie the knot, and to say it was extreme wind would be an understatement. But, this sweet couple didn’t let it ruin their moment and we tried to use that wind to our advantage for a little cape action!
Kristen & Ken
The last beautiful couple that we were absolutely elated to work with was Kristen and Ken. They signed up for this trip so that they could have a vow renewal, to celebrate their 40 years of love! Yes, FORTY! Their only wish for this trip was to have tiny black and white guests, who were tuxedo ready. And they got exactly what they wished for, there were penguins everywhere and they were the absolute cutest thing.
Behind the Scenes!
Look, you can’t journey to the southernmost tip of the world without taking some behind-the-scenes photos! Though our couples looked amazing and they were wedding day ready, we were professionally bundled and so ready to get to work to capture their moment. We were lucky enough to have the cruise line expedition photographer take the group photo depicted below. I also added in a few behind-the-scenes photos that we snapped on our iPhones in between work!

Villa Woodbine Wedding in Miami | Carolina & David
Villa Woodbine has to be one of the most lovely wedding venues in Miami. It’s true! While we don’t like to play favorites with all of the amazing wedding venues that Miami has to offer, it’s hard not to fall in love with a wedding venue like Villa Woodbine which is so deeply infused with romance in each and every corner.
Carolina and David’s wedding day started off with some getting-ready moments at the chic W Miami. The embroidered lace train of Carolina’s gown looked so gorgeous against the floor-to-ceiling windows of her getting-ready suite! After taking in the dazzling view of Miami’s skyline, the bride set off in a vintage car with her father to meet her husband to be for their vows.
Once we arrived at Villa Woodbine, Carolina and David’s enchanting wedding day began. Using a color palette of burgundy, blush, and gold for their day was the perfect choice to compliment the Mediterranean architecture of their amazing wedding venue! From start to finish, the bride and groom's wedding day was held on the open-air grounds of Villa Woodbine. They exchanged warm vows in front of the grand oak tree before setting off with me to shoot their wedding day portraits.
With a total of just over 100 friends and family in attendance, the sweet newlyweds danced the night away under the cafe lighting at Villa Woodbine's courtyard reception space. I would describe Carolina and David’s wedding day the same way as I would describe them, fun! If you want to see some behind-the-scenes photos from their guests, you can search Carolina and David’s wedding hashtag #absoluteLEEinlove on Instagram!

Hacienda Los Robles Wedding | Allison & James
James and Allison’s Hacienda Los Robles Wedding in Miami was a special one for Dipp Photography!
The groom, James, just so happens to be my brother’s best friend! Shooting weddings for our friends, family, and friends that feel like family is such an amazing experience. It also allows their photos to have an added layer of intimacy to them. When the couple already knows me, they are more relaxed in front of the camera and a bit more at ease about taking direction, being comfortable with one another, and posing for the best shots!
Hacienda Los Robles is a Rustic Wedding Venue located in Miami. It features a gorgeous brand new barn that is nestled amongst the shady lychee trees, and bonus, it is fully airconditioned! So you don’t have to worry about the Miami heat creeping into the rustic chic barn wedding of your dreams!
James and Allison added in a few rustic details to their wedding day including a hand-painted wooden sign, and custom wooden vow books. But overall their day was full of that chic Miami style that so many of Dipp Photography’s couples are known for! Their color palette for their Hacienda Los Robles wedding was varying shades of blue mixed with gray and white. It was really beautiful to see the contrast between the bridal parties dusty colored outfits and the bright white floral bouquets!
My bride and groom kept their wedding to approximately 80 guests. Seating for their guests was set up inside the barn as long family-style tables complete with softly lit candles, fresh floral arrangements, and custom menus placed at each guest’s setting! When James and Allison took the dance floor as husband and wife they held one another as they danced to La Vie en Rose by Louis Armstrong. Congratulations to James and Allison! The Dipp family wishes you a lifetime of happiness!!!

Biltmore Hotel Miami Wedding | Marise & Diosan
Did you know that the Biltmore Hotel in Miami hosts intimate wedding celebrations?! They do! The Biltmore’s intimate wedding package hosts up to 50 guests for your wedding ceremony with a celebratory champagne toast. And the best part (in my opinion!) is full use of their grounds for your wedding photography!
My couple Marise and Diosan chose the Biltmore’s intimate wedding package to celebrate their love. All of their big wedding day moments happened at the Biltmore from getting ready to bridal portraits, their first look, and their formal family portraits!
If you’ve never been to the Biltmore in Miami, it is quite a sight to see! It was constructed in 1926 as a Mediterranean revival-style hotel and golf course, and today much of that historic charm still stands. The architecture of the Biltmore is such a gorgeous landscape for your wedding photos!
My bride Marise wore the ultimate princess-style wedding dress for her Biltmore wedding. It was a capped sleeve gown with a lace floral bodice and a ballgown skirt with a train for days! With a gown like that, I had to pose her on the iconic stairway of the Biltmore with her gown gently billowing behind her. She was the vision of romance. Marise topped off her look with (what else!?) a tiara and a cathedral-length veil. In her hands was an all-white floral bouquet curated from roses and delicate orchids. Her bridesmaids were the vision of fall in wine-colored floor-length gowns. And her groom was dashing in a white tuxedo jacket with a black satin-lined lapel and a black bowtie. Secret Gardens Miami Wedding | Jenae & Ricky
Jenae and Ricky’s Secret Gardens of Miami Wedding was a tropical fantasy!
The Secret Gardens of Miami is a tropical oasis located in the Redlands of Miami. It’s natural ambience is full of waterfalls, koi ponds, and a thriving natural landscape. It is a literal paradise, right in the heart of Miami!
My gorgeous bride and groom are just as beautiful on the inside as the outside. They are the sweetest couple ever! They are the type of people who radiant positive energy and draw in everyone around them, seriously their energy is contagious! Working with them was such a pleasure and they were able to trust me every step of the way. It’s not always easy to take direction from your wedding photographer. Sometimes the directions we give to our couples or the poses we put them in might feel awkward. But I assure you that I am always out to get the best shot! Jenae and Ricky put their trust in me on their wedding day and it paid off!
Jenae and Ricky’s wedding was packed with 175 guests who came ready to celebrate their love! Their classic wedding day style was a color palette of black & white with plenty of the glitz and glam that Miami is known for. When it was time to take the dance floor for their first dance as Mr and Mrs, they held each other close as Only You by Ric Hassani played.

Villa Woodbine Miami Wedding | Alexis & James
Alexis and James had an intimate wedding at Villa Woodbine in Miami and I am sharing all of the details of their big day below!
Alexis and James’s wedding day was only intimate in size. With COVID restrictions, it was important for my bride and groom to celebrate their love, but they, of course, wanted to stay safe. This meant that the only guests in attendance on their wedding day were the bride’s adoring parents.
Though their wedding was not attended by hundreds of guests, it does not mean that my bride and groom missed out on a single minute of celebrating their life together, and their love for one another!
Alexis was every bit the romantic bride for her wedding day! She wore a dreamy structured off the shoulder gown with a detailed rhinestone belt. My bride paired her gorgeous gown with a cathedral-length veil and long loose wavy curls for the ultimate wedding day look.
The lush landscape of Villa Woodbine in Miami set the stage for Alexis and James to say I do. The couple said their vows to one another in the courtyard of Villa Woodbine, nestled just inside one of the venues many famous Mediterranean-style stone archways.
One of the amazing things about your having a wedding at Villa Woodbine is that the lush greenery and tropical landscape are literally woven into every crevice of this venue! Every crevice of this gorgeous venue is an opportunity to create amazing memories and portraits of your wedding day that will last a lifetime!
Alexis and James finished their wedding day in big style! I captured this gorgeous couple walking the grounds of Villa Woodbine, holding hands, through a burst of bright pink smoke from the smoke bomb we set off! Wait until you see it!

Romantic Miami Wedding at Villa Woodbine | Gretchen & Spencer
This romantic wedding day at Villa Woodbine with Gretchen & Spencer was nothing short of amazing!! Capturing the love shared between passionate couples is where my heart lays and this bride and groom is no exception!
Gretchen and Spencer are so loving with one another that their passion shined through every single moment of their wedding day. When their big date came, the weather in Miami called for rain - yikes! But we were so lucky throughout the entire day, that the forecast went from rain, light sprinkles.
My bride and groom's wedding reception was held at Villa Woodbine in Miami, which is a gorgeous Mediterranean-style open-air wedding venue. Having worked there before, it was so much fun to be back at Villa Woodbine with Gretchen and Spencer! If you haven’t had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Villa Woodbine then you are going to get to have the chance to take a peek inside through the photos from Gretchen & Spencer’s wedding day! The beautiful loggias at the venue were the perfect location to capture some of Gretchen’s bridal portraits. Her romantic, mermaid style, off-the-shoulder wedding dress, had a gorgeous long train full of lace detail. To capture all of the gorgeous details and textures of her wedding dress in one shot, I positioned her on the balcony with the train of her dress softly cascading down the tiled steps behind her.
Gretchen and Spencer said I do at St. Kieran Catholic Church in Miami. When Gretchen was escorted through the doors of the church, she had an epic veil moment, with her cathedral-length mantilla veil floating behind her. Throughout the ceremony, Gretchen and Spencer held hands as they prayed over their marriage, and exchanged their beautiful warm smiles with one another.
