Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Wedding | Janet & Chris
Janet and Chris’s wedding day at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay was full of fun electric energy, tender moments and a whole lot of love!!!
It’s so amazing to watch a couple’s love story come full circle! I shared Janet and Chris’s engagement photoshoot back in >> this post and now they are husband and wife!
Janet and Chris said their I do’s at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Miami, and celebrated their getting ready moments and wedding reception at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay.
There were so many sweet moments throughout their day that you’ll get to see below and this bride and groom put their full trust in me to capture every single second!
Janet’s bridal suite was so full of celebratory moments! You’ll get a peek at one of those moments below where the bride and her bridesmaids wore lace lined robes, popped open a pink bottle of champagne, and tossed confetti! Janet’s bridesmaids were gifted wine mugs with their names calligraphed on each mug, which were perfect for this moment!
After the bride was dressed and ready for the day, she had a first look with her dad that will pull right at your heartstrings. She then opened up a romantic note and gift from her groom before she was off to meet her future husband at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Miami!
Meanwhile, Chris prepared to meet his bride by fastening his crisp white bow tie, buttoning up his chic royal blue suit, and pouring a drink from a custom made flask, that were gifted to the groomsmen.
The couple said their ‘I dos’ in a beautiful, traditional, Catholic ceremony and then it was time to celebrate their newlywed status!
Once we had the church all to ourselves, I was able to capture some stunning shots of the newlyweds at the altar, with the train of Janet’s gown and her cathedral length veil on full display. We then took to the streets of Miami to enjoy the light and add some movement to Janet’s veil!
Inside their reception at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, the bride and groom had a room reveal with their wedding planner! They were beyond ecstatic to see their dream day come to life. They then danced the night away with each other, their parents, and later celebrated when a Hora Loca that had all the guests on the dance floor!

Biltmore Hotel Wedding Coral Gables Miami | Cristina & Bill
Cristina and Bill’s wedding at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Miami was a warm sunny South Florida day filled with romance and everything was nothing other than smooth sailing!
This super sweet bride and groom were up for anything and everything on their wedding day! They were not afraid to hop in a golf cart with me to explore the grounds of the Biltmore and to take some of their wedding day portraits at the bridge on property. Having that fun ‘sure let’s do this’ approach with your wedding photographer on your big day is the perfect way to establish trust, which ensures that your photos will be nothing short of epic!
Cristina and Bill said I do, after a sweet first look with each other, in a wedding ceremony set up on the back lawn of the Biltmore Hotel. W South Beach Wedding | Wendy & Jeffrey
Wendy and Jeffery’s wedding day at the W South Beach was an intimate, family-oriented celebration!
South Beach is known for it’s bright ‘all white everything’ aesthetic fixated against the backdrop of the gorgeous blue ocean. Wendy and Jeffrey’s South Beach Wedding day matched the chic yet casual vibes of the hottest beach in Miami in every way! The bride wore an all-white column style wedding gown with spaghetti straps, a low back, and a v-shaped neckline. Their wedding color palette was made out of earthy neutral tones which the couple paired with tropical florals for a luxe feel.
For their bridal party members, Wendy and Jeffrey enlisted the help of their children to stand in as their bridesmaids and groomsmen! The bridesmaids all wore super fun, short length boho style lacy dresses that matched their neutral color palette. The spaghetti strap dresses each had three short layers of lace detail towards the bottom and were paired with bridesmaids bouquets made out of monstera leaves and peach, white, and pink florals. The groomsmen both wore the same wedding day attire as the groom. Linen colored pants with a crisp white button-down dress top and linen vests, accented by single floral boutonnieres, no ties necessary!
Every facet of Wendy and Jeffrey’s wedding day took place at the W South Beach! Their getting ready suites in the hotel had a balcony view of South Beach, where my gorgeous bride stopped to pose for some of her bridal portraits! Their outdoor ceremony and reception were also set at the iconic hotel located on Collins Avenue.
The bride and groom were wed under a custom created birch wood chuppah that was decorated with tropical floral arrangements on either side. After smashing the glass, the newlywed bride and groom walked down the aisle covered in white rose petals, arm in arm, in celebration of their newlywed status. They then spent the night dancing under the stars and strands of cafe lighting in their outdoor wedding reception at W South Beach!

Key West Wedding at Casa Marina | Alex & Marc
Alex & Marc’s wedding day at Casa Marina in Key West was a hot one, but my bride and groom took it all in stride for their best day ever!
Alex and Marc opted against doing a first look with each other and instead met one another in a more traditional way, down the aisle! Their beachy wedding ceremony in Key West was full of unique touches such as a message in a bottled themed guest book, and pearly shells that were hand calligraphed with guests names and used as escort cards. An adorable custom-crafted welcome sign staked into the sand and displayed the bride and groom’s wedding date along with the latitude and longitude for the exact location that they were married! It was one of the first things that their guests spotted as they took their seats for the ceremony which directly faced the tranquil waters of Key West.
Reception time at Casa Marina for the newlywed bride and groom was crisp all-white decor that was accented by tropical florals to bring in the local vibes of Key West! White linen tables were accented by tall floral arrangements and were full of cascading white orchids, palm fronds, and broad green monstera leaves, they were absolutely gorgeous!!
The sunset in Key West on the evening of Alex & Marc’s wedding at Casa Marina could not have been more ideal! While guests were enjoying the live entertainment, I snuck back out to the beach with my bride and groom to make sure that we were able to capture the gorgeous sunset together as they snuggled up to each other.

Rusty Pelican Miami Wedding | Cristina & Ernie
I am sharing all of the elegant details, from Cristina and Ernie’s wedding day at the Rusty Pelican in Miami, below!
My bride and groom’s day was filled with so many special moments and Cristina was one of the most elegant brides that I have ever had the pleasure of working with!
Getting ready time happened at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, where Cristina and her bridesmaids wore pretty silk getting ready robes while having their full hair and makeup done. Once the bridal party had received the full glam treatment, but just before getting into their gowns, they all tossed some confetti together in celebration of the bride!
Cristina slipped into her bridal gown and spent a few special moments with her flower girl before she read a note from her husband to be (tissues required!). Then it was time to head off to the ceremony at Gesu Catholic Church in Miami. Cristina wore a full-length veil and carried a bouquet of all white florals that included a cascade of white lilies.
Cristina’s father walked her down the aisle where she and Ernie vowed to love one another forever. Their wedding ceremony at Gesu Catholic Church in Miami also included the lighting of a unity candle.
After the wedding ceremony, I was able to spend some time alone with the newly married Mr & Mrs to capture some intimate moments before their reception started. Their private time together included a room reveal for their reception at the Rusty Pelican in Miami! Those private moments between Cristina and Ernie were some of the most tender ones of their wedding day because they looked at one another as if no one else in the world existed, isn’t that so sweet?! Having a room reveal on your wedding day is also the perfect time to capture a few photos because the room is totally empty and there is so much excitement in the air before the guests arrive!⠀
In the days leading up to their wedding, anytime that I had spent around Ernie, he was always very lighthearted and I would easily describe him as a 'joker' who took everything in stride. During their reception at the Rusty Pelican in Miami, Ernie’s emotions came bubbling to the surface while the toast happened and it was a truly moving moment.
The night ended when a storm of confetti rained down on the bride & groom, as well as all of the guests who had joined them on the dance floor to celebrate!!

Rusty Pelican Miami Wedding | Allison & Will
Allison and Will’s Rusty Pelican Wedding in Miami is on the blog!
Do you guys remember Allison & Will’s boat engagement photo shoot in downtown Miami from >> this post? Now I am sharing all of the beautiful details from their wedding day, including their celebrity style mash-up name - Willison, in this post! PS: you will get to see ‘Willison’ printed on some of the items from their wedding day in the photos below!
All of the getting ready moments, including an epic shot of Allison and her 14 bridesmaids all dressed in adorable matching floral printed robes, took place at a private residence in Miami. The location was right by the water and I love how it ties back into Allison & Will’s engagement photo session style! Will and his group of groomsmen looked equally amazing strolling down the streets of Miami, as they headed off to First Miami Presbyterian Church, in their sleek black tuxedos and bowties, accessorized by black shades.
After my bride and groom were dressed and ready for their wedding day, they had a sweet first look with each other right at the altar of their wedding ceremony location at First Miami Presbyterian Church. Allison walked up to her groom from behind and embraced him just before he turned around to lay eyes on his beautiful bride. They shared the most tender embrace and interlocked fingers with one another while I snapped away!
Allison & Will’s reception at Rusty Pelican in Miami was full on modern and sleek wedding day style! The couple’s reception was designed with acrylic details, including their guest’s seating and table numbers, while their tablescapes were bursting with mixed glass votive holders full of soft-lit candles. In true Miami wedding day style, the couple’s wedding day florals were bursting with heaps of blooming greenery for a tropical vibe.
My sweet couple partied the night away with their friends and family to live music and it all ended an epic confetti cannon!

Vista Lago Ballroom Wedding | Rosario & Douglas
An epic love story between Rosario & Douglas that is full of passion, love for family and a beautiful wedding day at Vista Lago Ballroom in Miami!
I’m going to let you in on a little secret about their wedding day, it absolutely poured outside during their wedding ceremony, (Miami weather, right?!) but nonetheless Rosario and Douglas kept their calm. Once the rain subsided, I had such a short window with my bride and groom to grab their gorgeous wedding day photos outside before the rain started again. I think we ended up with a total of 15 minutes of uninterrupted full on sunshine time, and what we were able to create together during that short period of time was beyond phenomenal! My couple not only kept their cool throughout the entire time that we worked together when the sun came out, but they were so smitten with one another that it made for the absolute best wedding day photos, ever, Miami sunshine included! Sometimes you can plan and plan but the weather (especially that Miami rain!) or other outside factors find their way into your wedding day, the best advice I could ever give you is to be like Rosario & Douglas; focus on one another and don’t sweat the small stuff. If I hadn’t told you about the rain, you would never know by looking at their photos that their day was anything less than utter perfection!
Another thing that was so incredibly special about Rosario and Douglas is the love that they have for their family. Their Miami wedding day was not just about the love that they share with one another, but it was also focused on bringing together a family. You’ll get to see the way that they brought their family together during their wedding ceremony at Plymouth Congregation in Miami as well as the unique first dances that they celebrated when it came time for their reception at Vista Lago Ballroom, fair warning: total tear-jerking moments ahead!

Freehand Miami LGBT Wedding | Daniel & Craig
Daniel & Craig’s wedding day at Freehand Miami was easy going and overflowing with nothing but love!
Daniel and Craig served up full on wedding day style for their vows at Freehand Miami, and I cannot wait to tell you all about what they wore! My two grooms wore chic matching two-tone suits in pale gray and white tones. They accented their wedding day suits with matching boldly printed pocket squares, and on the opposite lapel, they each wore brightly colored boutonniere’s. Craig took his wedding day accessories up a level by styling his look with beaded bracelets, and a Chanel bracelet with the iconic ‘CC’ symbol dangling just beyond his cufflinks. Their Miami wedding day style attire did not stop there! To top off their look, and completely steal the show, Daniel & Craig wore matching Versace slides! The open style sandals were exactly what you’d expect of the Versace brand, black and gold baroque style slides with the Italian designers signature scrollwork, wait until you see them!
Daniel & Craig’s ceremony was truly heartfelt and there may even have been a few tears in the mix. But my favorite time spent with this beautiful couple were the moments after they said I do, when they were alone in my presence side by side laughing, smiling, hold each other tight and just enjoying the moment of being pronounced newlyweds! There is one moment in particular where Daniel & Craig were face to face with the warm Miami sun shining down on them and you can literally feel their love, you will definitely get to see this photo below!

Marriott Stanton South Beach Wedding | Michelle & Dan
Michelle & Dan’s wedding at the Marriott Stanton South Beach was elegant, simplistic, and full of gorgeous South Beach beach views!
Before they kicked off their South Beach wedding ceremony, Michelle & Dan had a first look on the balcony of their wedding venue at the Marriott Stanton South Beach. Michelle walked up to her groom from behind, and tapped him on the shoulder to surprise him in a super sexy crisscrossed back wedding gown!! Michelle and Dan embraced one another tenderly and even twirled around in front of my camera, it was such a sweet moment!! The back of Michelle’s wedding gown was really as sexy as it sounds. The gorgeous criss-cross design was accented by rhinestones, and a photo of her overlooking the balcony with her back turned toward my camera was a must have moment for the day!
Michelle & Dan said their I do’s literally right in the white sands of South Beach Miami! Michelle carried an elegant long stem bridal bouquet full of multi-colored ranunculus that matched the elegance of her bridal gown. My bride and grooms beach wedding ceremony set up included chic white folding chairs for their guests and a large hoop style arbor that was accented by dusty pink and white florals. Their only backdrop was the iconic blue-green waters of Miami, who needs anything more than that!?

The Palms Hotel Miami Wedding | Laxmi & Khristopher
Laxmi & Khristopher’s wedding at The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami is on the blog!
I think you are going to fall in love with this bride & grooms wedding day the same way I have! There were so many tender moments sprinkled throughout Laxmi & Khristopher’s wedding day that will pull at your heart strings from every single direction!
This sweet couple had two doting flower girls at their side during ceremony time, and the smiles on their faces are so unforgettable. Isn’t it amazing to see a wedding day through the eyes of a child? The flowers girls each wore a crown made of all white florals, tied at the back with a silk ribbon. For attire, the flower girls were dressed in empire waisted white dresses, accented by a wide pink ribbon with an angelic bow tied at the back. They were seriously adorable!
Tropical florals were the primary element of this wedding day’s design! The couple drew on elements such as pops of bold colored blooms, Monstera leaves, and King Protea. Floral accents could be seen in nearly every corner of their wedding day from the guests ceremony seating, floral garland lining the gazebo (which served as the couple’s altar) and in the bridal bouquets! Reception floral decor included watercolor Monstera leaves on the couple’s dinner menu, Monstera leaves placed under the chargers of the guests tale settings, and fresh florals lining their wedding cake, the way that the floral details were included throughout the day are impeccable!!
My personal favorite time spent with the couple is always when we get to take those wedding day portraits alone after the ceremony but before reception time, it always feels like nobody else in the world exists except my newlyweds! The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami is an amazing place to hold your wedding if you are interested in having beachside wedding day photos taken! Laxmi & Khristopher held hands on the beach as they walked through the sand, and the groom even carried his brides’ bouquet while I snapped away their precious moments together!
Then it was off to dance the night away at the reception!
I might’ve had a slight freak out when I noticed the guest’s favors displayed all over the tables! I immediately spotted that the couple was giving away one of my local favorites, ‘Love Letters Candles’, which are hand poured soy candles that each come with a love note from the Universe. When I asked Laxmi about them, she told me that she was the maker, brainchild, and owner behind the business! See more of that exact moment here! This gorgeous bride handmade a special scent to gift her guests at her wedding day, what a beautiful way to say thank you!
Dancing close with fingers intertwined and big beautiful wedding day smiles is exactly how my sweet bride and groom started and ended their reception. Laxmi also had a very special dance with her dad, with her wedding dress practically floating across the dance floor - you’ll get to see that plus every single amazing detail and moment below!

Douglas Entrance Miami Wedding | Lauren & Nick
Lauren & Nick had a beautiful wedding at Douglas Entrance in Coral Gables Miami, and I am so excited to share all of their heartfelt moments with you!!
Lauren & Nick’s wedding day was full chock full of so many amazing things. The bride and groom prepared for the day in separate locations, with their respective bridal parties. Lauren and her bridesmaids popped champagne in matching silk robes (white robe for the bride and gold robes for the ladies) in front of a ‘best day ever’ balloon arch which was displayed just above the bed at her bridal suite in the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables!
Nick slipped on his Marvel themed superhero suspenders and tux jacket in his suite at Douglas Entrance before he and his groomsmen toasted the day with a quick shot!
The bride and groom opted to have a first look by the sprawling fountain at Douglas Entrance before meeting each other down the aisle! You bet that I caught every moment of Lauren walking up to her groom from behind with her sweeping long cathedral veil & train behind her just as tapped her groom on the shoulder. Nick’s eyes were full on sparkling and he was smiling from ear to ear when he turned around to see his beautiful bride waiting for him in what was literally a picture perfect moment.
Ceremony time at St. Marks Catholic Church was full of happy tears, and a bridal entrance that will have you smiling from ear to ear! Lauren was truly beaming at she met her groom at the altar. After the wedding ceremony, I spent some time alone with the bride and groom to capture all of those newlywed feels! When your venue has gorgeous architecture with a stone stairway and an oversized perfectly placed chandelier, you bet that we are going to make the most of it! We played around a bit with the train on Lauren’s bridal gown as well as her veil to make sure that it was perfectly placed on the stairway for some black and white wedding photography!
Lauren & Nick’s wedding reception was full of hand-holding, close dancing, and tons of newlywed kisses, aren’t those the best?! Lauren had a very sweet emotional first dance with her mom, and Nick had one with his mom as well, wait until you see them both!

The mauve tone in their color palette showed up a few times on their wedding day, you’ll get to see the tone below in photos below of the bridesmaid’s gowns and on their tablescapes!
To kick off their wedding day, the bride and groom spent a little time with their respective wedding parties while they got ready and had a quick cocktail before the ceremony got started! Danielle and her bridesmaids were absolute perfection walking up the ceremony in their matching style sweetheart neckline trumpet gowns under the cafe lighting at Secret Gardens of Miami. Both the bride and her bridesmaids carried matching all-white wedding bouquets stuffed with greenery, the perfect touch to accent the mauve bridesmaids gowns!

Vanessa & Xavier’s wedding at Briza on the Bay is on the blog!!
My bride Vanessa & her groom Xavier were one of those couples who were just so easy going on their wedding day that they were an absolute dream to work with! They just went with the flow of their wedding day and enjoyed every single moment with one another.
There were so many stand out moments from their wedding day, all of which you’ll get to see below! Everything from getting ready in the bridal suite, to crossing the street for wedding day photos. Oh!, and tons of gorgeous photos of my bride and groom enjoying those ‘veil blowing in the wind’ moments with the Bay of Miami placed directly in the backdrop! It can be a little scary to take to the streets of Miami in your wedding dress and cathedral length veil, with full-on glammed out wedding day makeup - but Vanessa had a full team of wedding vendors to make sure that she was picture perfect, and to carry the train of her gown and her veil when she needed it most!
Inside their fully decked out reception hall at Briza on the Bay, Vanessa & Xavier’s wedding also had a fully lit, larger than life ‘Love’ marquee! Kimpton EPIC Hotel Downtown Miami Wedding
Andrea & Ector are married at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel in downtown Miami!
Andrea and Ector played by the motto ‘go big or go home’ when it came to their wedding day planning. They had an oversized ‘Love’ marquee on the dance floor of their wedding reception at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel and La Hora Loca came in to entertain and delight their guests. All of this happened on a seamless white dance floor that was monogrammed with their initials and the date of their wedding. Wait until you see it below!
Their dance floor was also home to their four-tiered wedding cake which was positioned just in front of a gorgeous white flower wall!
Andrea was every bit the princess bride on her wedding day and she wore a cathedral length mantilla veil with her lacy white gown. This veil looked like a floating dream as she walked down the aisle of her church to meet her husband to be.
Let’s talk about wedding day photos for a moment because the views from the glass balcony at the Kimpton EPIC hotel certainly live up to it’s name! With a high rise view of downtown Miami’s skyscraper architecture, this glass balcony with gray tiles was the perfect spot for my bride and groom to get in some EPIC wedding day photos!

Curtiss Mansion Wedding | Erica & Aram
The Curtiss Mansion in Miami Springs has to be up there on my list of favorite wedding venues, and Erica & Aram held their beautiful Miami wedding just outside it’s historic villa house.
Erica & Aram’s wedding day was altogether romantic and their love for one another shines through in the portraits that we captured together. The love that they have for their family is another aspect that you’ll get to see in this blog post as well! Erica’s first dance with her father and Aram’s first dance with his mother are down below and they are insanely sweet moments.
My bride and grooms wedding day style was definitely ‘black tie chic meets Miami flare’! Aram wore a chic black tux with cufflinks, a black bowtie, and a white pocket square, no vest! Erica wore a gorgeous white modified a-line wedding gown with a high waisted belt style, and a sheer bodice completely covered in lacy floral!
Seating for their reception was under the stars with strands of cafe lighting that hung above their guests as they dined and danced the night away. The bride and groom had a cozy sweetheart table all to themselves with signs on the back of their searing that read ‘Mr.’ and ‘Mrs.’! Of course, no outdoor wedding would be fully complete without a stunning sparkler exit, and oh yeah, we caught that moment too! PS: it’s the very last photo, so you’ll have to do some scrolling to see the goodies!
If you’re thinking of planning your wedding at the Curtiss Mansion you will definitely be full of inspiration after you see how Erica & Aram used the venue to host their ceremony & reception, and all the cozy spots we used to take their portraits after they said I do!

Their wedding day was full of so many milestone moments! Our time together all began with their engagement photo shoot at Matheson Hammocks Park in Coral Gables! Alessandra & Leo’s wedding day was full of special moments at every turn!
The bride and groom took ‘getting ready ‘ photos in their suites at the Hyatt Regancy Coral Gables. The bridal suite was full of bridesmaids in silk robes, the mother of the bride, and of course sweet baby Alesso!
Alessandra took a few moments to herself before heading to the altar, to open the gift that Leo sent her and read the love note that was attached; and we were able to capture every.single.moment. for our blushing bride.
Leo’s getting ready suite was all about tightening his suspenders, adjusting his bowtie, and slipping into his chic two-toned wedding day suit. Leo also received a love note from Alessandra addressed to her ‘soon to be husband’.
Alessandra and Leo said ‘I do’ at St. Peter Paul Church in Miami, their beaming smiles as they walked down the aisle arm in arm really show you how much excitement was in the air on their special day.
The bride and groom’s wedding reception at the Coral Gables Woman’s Country Club was just as chic as their wedding day style! Their reception set up was full of gold seating, crisp white linens, and white florals bursting from every table top. How about a vintage getaway car for your wedding day? A stylish ride that also doubles as a great back drop for your bridal portraits, yep, Alessandra & Leo had that too!
One of the best moments of their entire day had to be when the bride had a first dance with her Mom, all the mamas out there will feel this one right in the heart strings!! You bet we included a few shots of that first dance below!

The Palms Hotel Miami Wedding | Danielle & Lee
It may be winter, but it’s always summer in South Florida and today’s post is all about celebrating Danielle & Lee’s wedding at the Palms Hotel in Miami!!
Danielle is a news reporter and Lee is a sports photographer, any guesses as to how they met?! You know what they say, true love is always waiting for us in the places that we least expect it! This bride and groom is one insanely sweet couple and they were a total dream to work with.
Danielle’s wedding day style included a strapless, lacy wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline (perfect for a hot Miami Wedding!) and her hair was styled in super long dramatic cascading curls, swept over to one side. Lee’s groom style was all about that sharp blue suit! Which, by the way, we totally think that a bright blue wedding day suit is a Miami wedding staple!
The bride and grooms ceremony at the Palms Hotel in Miami was set up on the luscious green grounds. Crisp white chairs were lined up in rows for their guests to watch on while Danielle & Lee promised forever to one another, under a gorgeous romantic gazebo.
Danielle and Lee chose a wedding venue that was right on the water so naturally we got our toes in the sand to grab some blissful yet sweet photos of the couple together as newlyweds!

Curtiss Mansion Styled Wedding and Surprise Proposal | Isbel & Adrian
Over 19 Miami Wedding Vendors came together for this styled wedding, turned surprise proposal at the Curtiss Mansion!
This blog post is a little different from the other weddings we feature around here!
For one, it’s not actually a wedding, it’s a styled shoot!! Quick note on styled shoots. Styled shoots happen when a team of wedding industry professionals agree to come together to ‘style’ a wedding. Styled shoots are also a great way for wedding industry professionals to create new trends, sharpen their skills, and test new concepts within the industry. What really makes this styled wedding unique is that it quickly turned into a surprise proposal!!
We reached out to Adrian & Isbel to see if they wanted to be our ‘bride’ and ‘groom’ for the day and they immediately jumped at the opportunity to take part in this styled shoot! Literally dropping everything to attend fittings and be there when it came time for them to stand in as bride and groom. A little birdy at Dipp Photography asked Adrian if he planned on proposing and before you know it, a long time friendship turned into a gorgeous ring that Adrian presented to Isbel when they were decked out in full wedding day attire!!
Seriously, try to hold it in when you see Isbel’s reaction below!!
Any Miami Wedding wouldn’t be complete without a full on tropical landscape and The historic Curtiss Mansion, located in Miami Springs, played host to our styled wedding is full of just that. Oh and a super lush grove where you can set up your wedding ceremony, and stone archways to capture your wedding day portraits! You know, if you’re into super dreamy landscapes!

Some serious fun went down in the bridal suite when Diana & her glammed up bridal squad popped the bubbly in their silky getting ready robes. Be sure to check out the cute way they decorated the bridal suite, with gold metallic letter balloons hung above the headboard to spell out ‘Bride’.
After getting glammed up and sipping some bubbly, Diana was off to meet her groom for their intimate first look photos. Having a first look photo shoot is a great way to shake off the wedding day jitters, relax, get the tears out of the way before the ceremony, and enjoy a few private moments together before the frenzy of the wedding reception!

Time to party!! Guests were greeted at the Vista Lago Ballroom with mini champagne bottles, a towering five-tier wedding cake, and wedding day decor that was utter elegance! Wedding at The Mayfair Hotel in Miami | Elizabeth + Derek
Elizabeth & Derek’s journey to bride and groom status all began with a proposal that took Elizabeth by total surprise, and continued with their wedding day celebration at The Mayfair Hotel in Miami!
Grab a sneak peak of their engagement photos and read more about their love story, in the bride’s own words, below.
Engagement & Wedding Photos by Miami Wedding Photographer Dipp Photography!
“Derek and I met about five years ago at work; quite possibly the least romantic place to meet. I was truly at a place in life where I was not looking for or expecting a love story. Life is funny sometimes and throws curveballs at you though because when I least expected it, I found my Prince Charming. I truly feel that fate brought us together. He asked me on dates, sent me chocolates and coffee, which are my absolute favorite, so obviously, I caved in.... and well, the rest is history.
Derek proposed to me two and a half years into our relationship. I was truly surprised and didn’t expect it. I already knew I wanted to spend my life with him, so knowing that he wanted the same made me the happiest I’d ever been.
We really wanted to get married, but we had a goal and wanted to find a home first. Within a year we were able to accomplish this, and after we moved and settled in, we started planning our wedding. Planning our wedding was fun; it wasn’t always easy, but it truly made us both happy. We knew we were planning this great event to celebrate our love, and all that we are and mean to each other.
The day of our wedding I was all nerves. I could barely eat or even think. The day before our wedding we decided to do a “first touch,” and exchange letters. When the time finally came around, and we held hands, I remember letting out a sigh of relief and again, I truly can’t explain it, but when I felt him there next to me, it was as if all felt right in the world and I was ready to walk down the aisle and marry the man of my dreams. Sure enough, when I walked down the aisle and saw him there waiting for me, I had a ball of emotions come over me and I was just so excited to know I would be spending the rest of my life with the man that I know loves me more than anything.
We are two completely different souls who make each other complete. I can’t describe it, but I truly cannot imagine my life without him; I love him unconditionally. With him, I can always be myself; he understands me and who I am, and loves me without reservation. We couldn’t be any more different, and yet, we are perfect for each other. I truly found my Prince Charming when I found him, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of our lives together has in store for us
”
Pretty soon, Elizabeth & Derek’s wedding day had arrived!
The bride & groom had an emotional ‘first touch’ just before their wedding ceremony took place at The Mayfield Hotel in Miami! Emotions flowed; and maybe even a few tears! Sweet love notes were exchanged around the corner while Elizabeth & Derek held hands and prepared to make their journey down the aisle.
