Jenae & Ricky’s engagement photoshoot at the Perez Art Museum in Miami was perfection!
The Perez Art Museum in Miami is modern and contemporary, and an amazing choice of venue for any local couple who is scouting locations for their engagement photoshoot!
I have to admit, that Jenae and Ricky were brave for working with me on this particular day to capture their engagement photos! The weather was definitely not on our side. The outlook was 60% precipitation and the worst South Florida humidity you could possibly imagine. But we got super lucky because the weather held out and this couple totally rocked their shoot!
The amazing thing about having your engagement photoshoot at the Perez Art Museum in Miami is that you don’t have to worry about going inside and feeling awkward posing for the camera while museum-goers take in the sites. The museum has amazing views and art installations right outside its doors!
Jenae and Ricky came to their engagement shoot looking so chic. I love how this couple coordinated their outfits! Jenae wore a silky spaghetti strap black gown with a thigh-high split. When the wind picked up during the shoot, the bottom of her gown looked like it was dancing in the wind and it showed off her strappy black sandals perfectly! Ricky wore an elegant black bow tie and sleek black loafers (no socks!) The black accessories in his look perfectly complimented his bride-to-be’s gorgeous gown! They had so much chemistry together in front of the camera that their love for each other is undeniable
Towards the end of the shoot, my fun couple headed down by the water where they popped open a bottle of champagne to celebrate their love. It was a wonderful way to wrap up our shoot!

Deering Estate Engagement Session | Jenny & Zachary
Jenny and Zachary’s engagement session at the historic Deering Estate in Miami was intimate and romantic!
So often, my clients are timid about stepping in front of the camera for their engagement session! A common phrase I hear from my clients all the time is ‘but we’re not models’! And trust me, you do not have to be a model to have an amazing engagement session like Jenny and Zachary did at Deering Estate!
It’s not uncommon for couples to feel shy or even unsure about being photographed, especially for the first time. Typically an engagement session is the first time couples will have professional photos taken together, so it’s natural to feel that way! I work with my couples each step of the way to bring out their confidence so that I can capture their love story.
Jenny and Zachary chose the Deering Estate in Miami as the backdrop for their engagement session! Deering Estate is bursting with a gorgeous landscape that is only rivaled by its rich architecture. The oldest standing building on Deering Estate dates all the way back to 1896! It’s the perfect Miami location for an engagement photoshoot if you are looking for something that is tropical and historical! Lined by rows of towering palm trees, Deering Estate also has gorgeous views of Cutler Bay & Palmetto Bay. There are so many gorgeous locations on the property to pose for your engagement photos!

Historic Dupont Building Miami Engagement Photoshoot
Ana & Michael’s engagement photoshoot at the Historic DuPont building in Miami was a momentous occasion! This was the first time in the history of Dipp Photography that I have photographed an engagement session at the Historic Dupont Building. And can I just say, Ana and Michael absolutely brought the heat!
Ana and Michael went all out when it came to their engagement photoshoot! This gorgeous couple arrived at the Historic DuPont Building looking black-tie chic. The bride-to-be wore a fiery hot long sleeve black dress that hugged her gorgeous curves. The gown was completely backless and ended in a deep V. Michael wore a sleek black suit and tie to complement his stunning fiance. Ana hired a professional hair and makeup artist to complete her look for the shoot. She also worked with a seasoned wedding floral designer to create the two different bouquets that you’ll get to see her posing with in the photos below!
Taking the extra steps to work with wedding industry professionals for your engagement photoshoot is such an important step in getting ready for your wedding day! It allows you to test run your hair and makeup, builds a level of comfort for being in front of the camera before your wedding day (and in Ana and Michael’s case their videographer as well) it’s also great practice for holding and posing with your wedding bouquet!
This engagement photoshoot was really taken to the next level when we set off white smoke bombs in the Historic DuPont Building in Miami! Though I didn’t get to photograph Ana & Michael’s wedding day, I am so honored to have been part of their love story in some way!

Marian & Jorge’s Tree Tops Park Engagement Photos are on the blog!
Local parks are truly hidden gems when it comes to choosing a location for your engagement photoshoot!
Tree Tops Park in Davie was the perfect setting for Marian and Jorge to celebrate their love.
There are so many secluded areas within the park that can be used to make your shoot feel more private and to make sure that we get those shots!
One of my favorite spots in the park is a small wooden bridge where I was able to grab a shot of my couple with the perfect amount of light shining on them from the background! Wait until you see it in the photos below!
The chemistry between these two was undeniable and they fell right into each other’s arms with every single click!
My couple started their engagement photoshoot with a more relaxed look by taking a few shots wearing black dress shirts and dark jeans.
Marian was in full glammed-out hair and makeup for the entire shoot with long relaxed waves through her gorgeous mane and a natural meets dramatic eye look paired with a creamy pink lip.
The glammed-out hair and makeup accented her natural beauty perfectly and the camera absolutely loved her!
I highly recommend going the extra mile and investing in a professional hair and makeup artist for your engagement photoshoot.
After their jeans and sleek tops look, Marian and Jorge both changed into formal wear.
Marian wore a gorgeous blush gown that really popped against the landscape of greenery in Tree Tops Park, and Jorge wore a black suit and tie to complement his bride-to-be’s look!

If you are searching for the perfect outdoor location for your engagement photos in Coral Gables, you are going to fall in love with this session at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden!!
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden checks off every box of the ideal Coral Gables engagement photoshoot location checklist. Rare tropical plants (palm trees included!) bursting colorful flowering trees, twisted vines, and of course plenty of sunshine. Add in the stone pathways, waterfalls, and benches made just for two, and you have a recipe for romance!
I hadn’t been back to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in a while so it was especially fun for me to work with my amazing couple in this gorgeous landscape and create some magic for their engagement!
Mariolys and Seth were a bit shy when we first started their engagement photo shoot, but you would never know it judging by their photos! They warmed up in front of the camera quickly and showed off their love in celebration of their upcoming vows. You’ll get to see what I mean when you scroll through their shots!
My gorgeous bride-to-be wore a deeply shaded gown with a thigh-high split (so you know that I made sure to show off her gorgeous legs!!) paired perfectly with nude heels. Her gown popped against the backdrop of the bold pink flowers growing in the vines all around us!
Her groom was ever so elegant in a sleek tailored suit with no tie. We kept his jacket open for most of the shoot. This gave him a more relaxed look and allowed him to go in for all the hand-holding and sweet embraces!

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is a local Miami hotspot for couples who are shooting their engagement photos. With its lush gardens, impeccable stone structures, archways, and views overlooking the water, it’s an easy location choice to make your photos flawless!
Diana and Juan are a super relaxed couple! Working with them was an absolute joy. When my couples are not shy about celebrating their love with each other (in front of the camera) - that’s when we can work together to make something extraordinary.

The type of love that Diana & Juan share could only be described as that once in a lifetime, magical, fairytale type of love! It is evident in the way that they look into each other’s eyes and the way that they take each other’s hand.
Did I happen to mention that my bride is a wedding industry hair and makeup artist?! You just know that means she looked drop-dead gorgeous when it came to getting glam for her own engagement photos! Diana also chose two different gowns for her photoshoot. She went with a romantic off the shoulder white-hot structured gown with a thigh-high slit, and she also wore a strappy lacy, ‘nude’ style gown to really turn up the heat!

Tree Tops Park is a local hidden gem that my couples love to visit for their engagement photos!
Ashley and Tim are a newly engaged couple who were a tiny bit shy and very much concerned with being photographed. I hear this exact statement so frequently with my couples! PS: they are usually 100% wrong!
A couple’s engagement photos are typically the first time they have professional photos taken together, their number one concern & worry is often about being photogenic.
That’s where I step in!
I love proving my couples wrong. One of the things I am particularly passionate about with my photography is building confidence in front of the camera. I work closely with my couples to put them at ease and to bring out their natural state. This allows them to relax in front of the camera and enjoy the moment. Once they feel at ease, they can just “be” with each other and trust that I will do my job to capture the magic.
Ashley and Tim were so sweet with one another throughout their entire engagement shoot at Tree Tops Park. If they still had any reservations about being photogenic, it definitely didn’t show! They embraced one another as if the world stood still just for them. Their entire day was spent documenting their love story, under the sun!

Amanda and Mike are celebrating their love with a Miami Engagement Photo Shoot at the Perez Art Museum!
The groom, Mike, is an old friend of mine from High School. He contacted me to photograph their upcoming wedding, and I jumped at the chance to work with him and his fiance, Amanda!
This sweet head over heels in love couple was so concerned about being photogenic during their engagement shoot. They told me that they were not photogenic at all, and I assured them that I would walk them through their session, step by step.
This is something that I hear frequently when I work with new couples! Many of my couples are worried about appearing photogenic during their session. Often times a couple’s engagement photo shoot is the first time that they are taking professional photos together. This is one of the many reasons it is so important to have an engagement photo shoot! Gaining comfort in front of the camera before your wedding day oftentimes happens during the engagement shoot.
Needless to say, Amanda and Mike totally rocked their photo shoot at the Perez Art Museum! My soon to be newlywed couple even scheduled an outfit change into their session. Coming to their session with a formal look and a relaxed look allowed us to play around with the scenery on Biscayne Boulevard.

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens Engagement Photos | Adriana & Adan
Adriana and Adan are celebrating their love with an engagement photo shoot at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens!
This super sweet bride and groom to be were so worried about not being photogenic during their engagement session! In fact, it was one of the first things that they brought up during our initial conversation. They totally proved themselves (and me) wrong because their photos are elegant, romantic, and even a little steamy.
Before they stepped in front of my camera Adriana and Adan got dressed to kill! Adriana wore a hot pink gown with a single geometric shaped shoulder detail and a curve-hugging silhouette; she paired her gown with strappy high heel sandals. Adan wore a chic blue relaxed suit, with a white button-down dress shirt, a white pocket square, and no tie!
My loving couple walked all around the grounds of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens while embracing and stopping for a few romantic kisses. There were even a few booty grabs in the mix and you bet that I captured it all! They were so head over heels for each other during their entire engagement photoshoot that the worries they had about being photogenic melted away with each embrace, and each click of the camera.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a local favorite amongst my couples for engagement photos, with each session bringing out the unique love story of the couple that I work with.

Downtown Miami Boat Engagement Photoshoot | Lendy & Jose
Lendy & Jose’s Miami Engagement Photoshoot took place on their boat with the gorgeous skyline view of downtown Miami far off in the distance!
This engagement session has to have been one of my favorite sessions ever! From the couple’s own idea to use their boat for the session (the groom is totally boat obsessed!) to their gorgeous attire for the day, right down to popping a bottle of champagne on the shores of Miami - the entire day was absolute perfection!
I love when my couples are not afraid to ‘go for it’ during their engagement photoshoots. Drawing on the unique and personal aspects of their life together is what makes the magic come alive in front of the camera. In Lendy and Jose’s case, it was adding their boat into the mix! Funny story about the boat though, at one point we docked the boat while I was photographing them and the boat decided to make a getaway of its own. Jose had to jump into the water (minus a few pieces of clothing) to swim after it and re-dock it!
Aside from that very small incident with re-docking the boat, everything went off without a hitch! My bride to be looked beyond gorgeous in full hair and makeup and a long sleeve blush-colored shimmery gown, a nude-colored manicure to match her gown, and she ditched her shoes for the day! PS: wait until you see the close up of her engagement ring! My groom-to-be wore a short sleeve white button-down shirt untucked, and a pair of relaxed khakis.
The engagement photoshoot was topped off when Lendy and Jose popped a bottle of Veuve in celebration of their love and their upcoming wedding day.

Deering Estate is a gorgeous historic home in Miami, and the perfect location to shoot your engagement photos! Jessica and Daniel braved the hot Miami summer sun, wardrobe change included, to shoot their engagement photos and celebrate their love at Deering Estate!
The Deering Estate, located on the edge of Biscayne Bay in Miami, is a historic 1920s era Miami estate. It now services a popular museum destination for tourists and a local photoshoot hot spot for engaged couples. The grounds of Deering Estate are breathtakingly rich with beautifully manicured green lawns and sweeping historical architecture, which makes it the perfect backdrop for local couples to get decked out and walk the grounds for their engagement photos, just like Jessica and Daniel!
Having hearts for serving others, Jessica and Daniel are both doctors and their profession is what brought them to one another! They enjoyed every single moment of their engagement photoshoot with sweet embraces, tender kisses, and slight booty grabs! They even switched up the vibe of their engagement photos with an outfit change. The first set of attire that they selected was more for a more formal look, with Jessica wearing an off the shoulder lavender gown and Daniel in a dress suit with a tie and pocket square in a shade of lavender to match his bride to be. For their casual attire, Jessica went with a short length lacy white gown and a pair of sky-high platforms for the perfect hot Miami look, with Daniel wearing a white button-down shirt and ditching the tie and jacket!

Virginia Key Beach Park Engagement Photos | Angelica & Manny
Angelica & Manny’s Virginia Key Beach Park Engagement Photo session was fun, romantic, passionate, and on fire!!!
Some couples are naturally comfortable in front of the camera and they are not afraid to go for it, I would say that perfectly describes Angelica & Manny! In fact, their engagement photoshoot at Virginia Key Beach Park was almost like having two sessions built into one.
The first half of the shoot my future bride and groom was poised, elegant, formal and so sweet! They ran through the fields, held hands, and embraced one another with so much love and devotion. During this portion of their shoot, Angelica chose to wear an elegant floor-length red hot evening gown. Her gown had a subtle mermaid look with a fan style train and dainty spaghetti straps that crisscrossed at her back. Her groom, Manny wore a chic blue suit with a crisp white button-down shirt, no tie, and camel-colored dress shoes. Their elegant looks perfectly complimented one another.
For the second half of their engagement photoshoot, Angelica & Manny were laid back and started out with matching distressed denim that they rocked on the sandy shores of Virginia Key Beach Park!! After they warmed up to our new setting Angelica changed into a stylish modern one-piece all-black swimsuit, and that is when things really began to heat up! This couple brought the heat to their shoot in the water and on the shores of Virginia Key Beach Park. They embraced one another in the water and they laid in the sand with the beach entirely to themselves. They were so comfortable and passionate in the love that they have for one another that it is clear to see by the amazing shots we created that day!!

When the weather is absolutely perfect you take your couple to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens for their Engagement Photos!!
Danay and Bryan were one super lovey dovey couple (seriously, isn’t that the best?!) who were not afraid of showing off their emotions when it came time for their engagement photo shoot! My sweet couple chose to have their engagement photo shoot done at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, a popular location for local couples after they’ve just said yes!
My bride to be wore an insanely gorgeous ombre style navy and royal blue gown for her shoot! Her gown had a sexy little pop of detail on the back with a crisscrossed design. Danay also had full hair and makeup done for her session by Renata Estepan, and wait until you see her long cascading curls, love! Bryan wore a chic and trim royal blue suit, with a pocket square and striped tie, and he matched his bride to be perfectly!
Achieving the perfect weather scenario in Miami for your engagement photo shoot can be done! And it most certainly can be done at a waterfront location like Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. It takes a bit of proper planning and also working with your photographer to communicate your expectations for the shoot. Once that level of trust is instilled in your engagement photographer, I can guide you with choosing the correct location, at the proper time of day, and during the right season, to ensure that the results from you shoot are nothing less than amazing!

Historic Walton House Engagement Session | Priscilla & Linda
Priscilla & Linda are celebrating their love with an engagement photo shoot at the Historic Walton House in Miami!
I set off with Priscilla & Linda to capture all of the magic moments of their new engagement at the Historic Walton House in Miami. My two sweet brides looked so gorgeous with long flowing curls and light and airy gowns perfect for slipping on in the Miami heat!
To start off their engagement session, Priscilla & Linda spent a few moments sitting down with each other face to face, toasting to their love for one another with a little bubbly in stemless glassware, how much do you love that?!
After my brides broke through those few moments together getting comfortable in front of my camera, they were able to cozy right up to one another for the rest of the day, as if I were not even there. All the sweet kisses, and tender holding included! There was even had a nice little added bonus for their engagement session. A live band was playing at the Historic Walton House on the day that we arrived!! Priscilla and Linda got right on the dance floor and totally cut loose in full celebration, with me catching every single moment for them to cherish forever! So much of these moments are why photographers do what they do, how often do you get to celebrate your engagement with the love of your life with champagne and live music?!

Kristen & George celebrated their journey to be married with an engagement photo shoot at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens!
Kristen & George were one of those couples who were just a little shy at the beginning of our shoot together! Many couples first step in front of the camera together during their engagement photo shoot. It can make anyone feel even slightly nervous once we begin shooting, but it’s also a great time to get practice getting comfortable, not only with each other but with your photographer, before your wedding day! It took Kristen & George a couple of minutes, but they definitely warmed up to being in front of the camera! Their fun side and their passion for one another showed up in big ways for their Vizcaya engagement photos!
The iconic stone stairway at Vizcaya was just one of many of the stops we made while touring the grounds for Kristen & George’s engagement photos. Kristen’s beautiful black trumpet style gown had a deep v detail in the back and placing her on the steps while hand holding hands with George was the perfect way to draw out more of the couples passion in their photos! Kristen also brought along a short playful royal blue dress to the shoot! With her second dress ready to rock and her groom to be removing his tie and suit jacket, I took the couple down to the water for a more relaxed, but still smoking hot, photo with the soft curling waves in the background (you will definitely get to see it below!)

Tree Tops Park Engagement Photos | Danielle & Alejandro
Danielle & Alejandro’s engagement photo session at Tree Tops Park is on the blog!
My sweet bride and groom to be couldn’t have picked a better location to have their engagement photos taken. All of the lush greenery in Tree Tops Park helped set the stage for their romantic pre-wedding day moments and the light that came out to play that day was beyond perfect!
My bride-to-be Danielle went with the full glam treatment for her engagement photo shoot! She brought in Sissi Hair & Makeup to help her get camera ready for the shoot before slipping into her two separate white dresses that were both fun, chic and just a little sexy. Danielle’s first dress can be described as ‘short n sweet’. It was a knee-length white dress with a lacy v-neck ruffle detail and micro cutouts at her sides. For her second dress, Danielle went a bit more glam and dramatic with a white hot gown! The second gown was floor length, off the shoulder, and had a slit all the way up to her knee! (wait until you see it because hello gorgeous!) For Alejandro’s attire, the groom to be kept it simple but also very chic, changing his button-down tops to match Danielle for each setting of their photos.
The thing I really love about this engagement shoot (aside from my gorgeous totally in love couple) is that it really embodies how beautifully you can create your own engagement photos at a location right in your neighborhood! Tree Tops Park is perfect for an engagement photo shoot because there are so many different backdrops that can easily translate along with outfit changes while reflecting your own personal style! Glam by the lake? Casual and chic on the bench? We can do both, in the same shoot!!

Have you ever thought about having your engagement photos taken at Matheson Hammock Park? Cristina & Ernie did and I am sharing their session below!
I often discuss choosing the perfect location in Miami to take your engagement photos , and Miami is filled with gorgeous local parks! Shooting engagement photos in a local park can still provide your engagement photos with an intimate feel and the super bonus is that you don’t need any props with nature as your backdrop! You can get glammed up to the max in a gorgeous gown with your fiancé in a complementary suit and look like total rock stars (like Cristina & Ernie did!) !! If you’re worried that a photo shoot in a local park might feel ‘exposed’, or that other local park goers might be staring at you, or maybe even that we won’t be able to capture those romantic cheek to cheek moments - I have you covered there!! There are plenty of tucked away spots that we can shoot in where you will feel like you own the world and the only thing that matters is celebrating the love you share with your fiancé!!
Cristina & Ernie shared a few of those special cheek to cheek moments in their session as well! They were so sweet with one another during their entire session; holding hands and looking into each others eyes. Their smiles were enormous ear to ear smiles, you know - the kind that make your cheeks hurt from smiling so hard! My sweet bride and groom to be also got dressed to the nines in complimentary blue tones that pop so brilliantly in Matheson Hammock!

Downtown Miami Engagement Photo Shoot | Allison & Will
Allison & Will celebrated their engagement photo shoot on the water (ahem on a boat, on the water!) in Downtown Miami and you are going to love the views from the whole shoot!
No shoes required for this engagement photo shoot! We are boarding a boat, and then getting our toes all up in the sand. My bride and groom to be even got a little adventurous by standing on the hard top of their boat, snuggled together, for the perfect up close shot!
Allison & Will’s wedding day will be celebrated this February at The Rusty Pelican in Miami! The Rusty Pelican has a gorgeous corner ballroom with all glass windows overlooking the water and amazing views of the city!
Allison & Will’s bridal party is coming out in full force to show up for Allison & Will on their wedding day, with over 15 attendants on each side, it’s safe to say that their wedding day will be filled with love and plenty of laughs.

Tree Tops Park Engagement Photo Shoot | Johanna & Ryan
Johanna & Ryan’s engagement photo shoot at Tree Tops Park in Davie is on the blog!
With Johanna & Ryan’s wedding day just around the corner (it’s literally in 3 days!) I thought it would be fun to give you all an insider ’s look at their engagement photo shoot!
My bride and groom to be will be celebrating their upcoming wedding day at The barn at Paso Fino, which is an elegant farmhouse venue on a sprawling stretch of land in Lake Placid, FL. It would come as no surprise that Johanna & Ryan’s style for their engagement photo shoot can be described as ‘rustic flair’.
The bride and groom added in some of that style to their shoot when they each showed up at Tree Tops Park, wearing cowboy boots for their session! Johanna wore her cowboy boots underneath her long pink flowy dress as she snuggled up close to Ryan on a wooden bridge, so adorable!. Ryan brought along his cowboy hat which he wore for a few shots, and in between Johanna carried it in her hand!

Kendall Engagement Photo Shoot | Stacia & Chris
Stacia & Chris are engaged and their engagement photo shoot was off the charts adorable! The bride and groom to be brought along their sweet little girl for their engagement photo shoot that took place in a lush green field in Kendall. The happy family held hands, embraced, and danced through the the wild grass together.
Stacia and her little even had ‘mommy and me’ matching dresses in a creamy pinkish peach hue that were covered in flower petals and floral appliqué!
Our bride and groom to be brought along one very small prop to their engagement photo shoot that has one very big meaning. A single strand of rope tied into a loose knot and held together by each of their hands to symbolize their love and commitment to one another, how sweet is that?!
When it comes to shooting your engagement photos in the Miami area there is never a shortage of picturesque locations or landmarks for us to choose from!! This sprawling field in the Kendall area was so breezy and lush that it put our family front and center. It’s so easy to see the love that Stacia and Chris have for one another and the joy that they share for their little girl!
Stacia & Chris are destined to have an awesome wedding day celebration at ‘The Venue Fort Lauderdale’, which has an Epic Ballroom, literally the reception hall has the word epic built right in! How cool is that?! The big day is just around the corner and it’s all going down in February of 2019.
